We have been going to Princeton for so many years and stayed at so many hotels but not this Marriot. It is very close to Alexander drive which gets you to Princeton University and Nassau Street in about 5 minutes. The property is very clean and after a quick change of room from one near the elevators to another one away from them we had no problem with the elevator noise or any kind of noise. Their breakfast is included and it had several items. Our suite had a kitchen and our room was very comfortable. So many choices for restaurants right at the Market Fair behind the hotel, also on route 1 and on Nassau Street.

Changing our room was easy and was handled very professionally. Lots of free parking also available

Room Tip: Stay away from the elevators and their noise.

After staying at the Westin, the Hampton and now the Residence Inn, this is now my hotel of choice for Princeton visits. I've stayed here for 9 days and valued several features...it's a reliable Residence property and all that comes with Marriott reliability, the location near MarketFair and the restaurants is great, it's one exit down from Whole Foods to get to more "dining in" options. You can also get to Princeton without battling U.S. 1 by taking the back road to Alexander. Last but not least for me is that you can get to a beautiful run along the canal very easily.

Room Tip: Air conditioning is noisy, bring ear plugs. Stay away from the elevators as the chime is very loud when doors open and close.

I stayed here for a ten-day business trip in June. It's a good location as its right off the highway and has a couple chain restaurants within walking distance (pf changs, a Mexican and Italian place, and more importantly a Starbucks). The hotel itself looked pretty run down as the carpets looked extremely worn out and there was a funny smell in the hotel. Housekeeping did a nice job in cleaning however for several days in a row they did not replenish toiletries and I was left with none. The individually-wrapped jelly bellys were a nice surprise each day. Overall the staff was friendly and it was an acceptable stay however the hotel is in need of some serious renovating.

All very nice at this property with one significant exception. The air conditioner was in a closet adjacent to the bed, It was loud and would come on intermittently throughout the night making sleep difficult. We should have requested a room change, but we were not certain we would avoid the problem with a new room. Seems like that was common to all rooms.

Room Tip: ask before you book it to ensure the room is quiet

Clean room, spacious. Never used the kitchen, but looked to be stocked with everything I might need. Tastefully decorated, comfortable bed/pillow/sheets. A/C worked well. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water.Nice complimentary breakfast each day. Here on business for many days and this room was booked for me. Staff was friendly.
