“Good pizza could have less char”
Reviewed 8 April 2014

Went with a colleague who wanted a light lunch. We ordered 2 Italian Chianti wines and were given some wings to sample which were delicious. The pizza was split in half with one side being the roasted cauliflower and the other being eggplant marino. Both types were delicious but I enjoyed the cauliflower better. My buddy Michael also ordered a single malt Scotch to end the meal. Pricing was around ~$50 which was a bit steep but was because of the drinks. I didn't mind the char but I found that it was a little too much. Otherwise a good thin crust pizza.

“This pizza gap has real sausage!”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

We've been going to Anthony's frequently over the past year and find it to be just great, being from Chicago and living in the NY area for over 25 years, pizza has to be really good for me to go back regularly. We typically order a large pizza and the house salad with mozzarella cheese. The pleasant surprise was to find real chunks of Italian sausage, not that sliced stuff you usually find on NY pizza. The wings with carmalized onions are wonderful, be sure to ask for blue cheese with them.

So why not a perfect score? The seating is too crowded. It's often so noisy we can hardly hear each other to visit. We never stay for dessert, primarily for this reason.

Service is always great!

Beyond the absolutely delicious pizza, the salads, chicken and other menu items are all equally great!

“Food is Great the Service is the Pits”
Reviewed 22 December 2013

What a shame we had been wanting to come here for awhile,we have frequented Anthonys Florida locations for years. The wings were great, the family salad excellent and the pizza my second favorite,Fratelli's is the best. The service is the pits, our waitress had no clue about anything, she brought the wrong type of draft beer, when our food arrived we had not even taken a bite and asked if everything was okay,I SAID NO THIS THIS WAS NOT THE PIZZA WE ORDERED and she insisted it was.We have eaten at the Florida locations many times and do not even have to look at the menu we know what we want and like. This was a bad dining experience. The manager apologized but was too busy to really care.

“Great pizza!”
Reviewed 21 December 2013

Went here for lunch and everything worked out - Nice waiter, fair prices, good portion sizes, GREAT pizza! We had the Eggplant Marino pizza... It was cooked perfectly and had amazing, balanced flavors! Highly recommend... Different from other pizzas in the area.

My only recommendation is that this is truly a PIZZA place. They have very few options for other types of Italian meals... Nothing wrong with that since they do pizza so well, but something to keep in mind if you are coming here with a big group.
