When its crowded, especially on weekend mornings, the wait can be quite long, but the bagels are really great. They make them the right way, boiling them first before sending them to the oven. The selection is very good - though they used to have a peanut butter bagel that was absolutely amazing (sadly no longer made) - and includes bialys and a few cookies and cakelets as well. They also have The Best Tuna Salad, excellent cream cheeses, and other savory things. I've been coming here for more than 10 years and I've never been disappointed in the bagels or accompaniments. That said, I only order to take out, unassembled. Nothing better than fresh bagels and cream cheese on a slow weekend morning (tuna fish, too!). They have a breakfast and lunch sandwich menu, including the standard NJ pork roll and cheese, and make coffee and other drinks. I've just never bought any of those things here. The bagels are definitely what to come here for, and they are better than any I have ever had anywhere in NYC.
