An ever changing menu, published the night prior on internet worth checking. Seasonally adjusted menu with heartier chowders, goulashes, in winter. Very reasonable prices for sizes ranging from 1/2pint to quart. Get there early for the good stuff because there's only a few gallons and lines form outside in the alleyway after two or three...worth it in every way!

While the name says hot dogs, the daily preparation of 3-4 homemade soups is the real attraction. Some days, the line extends far outside this tiny 500 sq ft kitchen and counter. Check his website daily for specials, each delicious and often unique. Many are whole meals in themselves. Patience while waiting will be rewarded and you even meet or make a friend. Hot dogs are good too!

They do sell big delicious hot dogs here you can load up with toppings, but the big draw for me is the soups. Different soups all the time, homemade, incredibly delicious, and a great price - can't beat them.

Gary makes delicious soups. I have been coming here for years. These are soups like your grandmother would make if she was a real, real good chef. All home style. His sandwiches are also delicious and just like one you may make at home -- nothing fancy and no sun dried tomatoes.
