Been a patron for many years. Boardwalk pizza has a bit of rivalery in NJ...like cheese steaks in Philly! but Marucas does have an edge. They make their pizza by FIRST laying out the cheese, and usinging a thin sauce, make a swirl from the center outward. This makes every bite have a little different mixture of dough/cheese/sauce. I prefer my pizza to be re-heated (again a NJ thing)- it is extra crispy that way. Boardwalk pizza is an expierence--if you just want pizza at home...order pizza hut or cook a frozen pizza. If you want to taste why the Jersey Shore has so many pizza places, and the loyality to support them all---have a slice down here...and def. try marucas.
