DANGER!!! DANGER!!! FOOD POISONING!!!

My family and I ate at Spicy's and we ALL got food poisoning the day after we ate there!!!

Spoke to 2 managers including the owner and they all argued with us, and would not offer
us a refund!! Made us feel like we were in the wrong.

Absolutely DISGUSTING!!!

I would not recommend Spicy's to ANYONE!!

The woman who submitted the review and a guest are both vegetarians who both ordered and ate refried beans with pork.
Her only intrest is getting money back for her meals.
I am, as well as the G.M., holders of Serve Safe Food Certificates. We are in good standing with the Ocean County Board of Health.
The evening this woman was here we feed 400 plus dinners in the cantina. Another 400 on sunday. Not including feeding our extensive staff on 3 floors.
She insists the salsa was poisoned. Salsa goes on each and every table as well as the bar.
She was, and up to yesterday still is, threating and harrassing. We were polite and listened. We did not refund any money, there was no foundation to her claims.

Stayed at Seaside for 6 days and we all wanted something else besides sausage sandwiches and chicken fingers. The kids had the quesedillas and they all said it was very good. One had a salad and again very good. I had the crab and spinach enchilada...OMG fanfreakentastic!!!!! The chips and salsa were also great and service....fast & friendly. We sat by the window and watched the ocean, great view! We will definately go back again and again.

After spending many weekends at the boardwalk over the years, what a pleasant suprise to find a new, classy, full-service Mexican restaurant right smack-dab in the middle of the action. Located on the second story of Spicy's, it over looks the ocean. Ask for a window seat for best ocean viewing. Get in early if you plan to watch the Wednesday night fireworks from there. Food was delicious. Decor was fun. Mexican music added to the ambience. Chips and salsa were awesome. Couldn't stop munching. Service was fast and friendly. We had the ribs and the chimichangas. Both were great. Saw someone eating a Cobb salad that looked spectacular. Server said the crab enchiladas are her favorite. We didn't try the margaritas but there were plenty going out around us. They were in cool, hand-blown glasses with blue rims. Looked fun. Nice selection of dishes. Something for everyone, even those who don't like mexican food. If you're going to Seaside and looking to try a great new place--this is it!
