It is furnished with 18th and 19th century artifacts from the Atlantic County Historical Society. The house now is the original 18th century size. Somers family lived in it for 200 years . When they gave it to the State of NJ in 1937 it had ten extra added rooms which were demolished.
The mansion is located on a little hill and is easy to find.
