We stayed here in a two bedroom suite for a lacrosse tournament at Rutgers University. We travel often for lacrosse and I have never gotten so much for the money. With teenage boys the two bedroom suites were a godsend. Clean, basic decor, well-equipped, separated by a living room, and had all the needed ammenities. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast had choices for everyone. The free laundry came in handy after a full day on the fields. The outdoor pool was a big plus with 95 degree weather. When a large (30+) family gathering monopolized the pool courtyard area, taking every available chair (although half of them were not being used at any given time), the hotel staff retrieved additional chairs for us. Given the hotel was fully booked it was extremely quiet - a nice surprise. Will definetly stay here again if in the area!

Room Tip: Ask for an end unit, away from the pool and basketball court area.

Thank you for your comments. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. As you said it is great being able to have the hot breakfast for the family, making it easier on the parents to not have to worry about getting or making breakfast themselves during your stay. Also, the large rooms are great to be able to have privacy by having the 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms. We are also pleased that we were able to assist you during your stay while by the pool. We hope that you will come see us again!

Best regards,

My sister-in-law and I stayed overnight 1 night to get some scrapbooking done and it was suitable for our needs. The room price was great, considering we often spend close to that for just an all-day event. Luckily we brought our own 6-foot table to work on though because otherwise there wasn't a large enough work area in the room for both of us. It was great that there was kitchen because we did lunch and dinner in the room. The breakfast the following morning was pretty pathetic though - there was barely any food left and they weren't refilling. I understand that it was close to the "end" time of breakfast, but there should still be enough food for late-comers. Overall, I would return for the same purpose.

Thank you very much for your comments. We are pleased that you enjoyed the large guest rooms and that you were able to complete your scrapbooking project while you stayed with us. We are sorry to hear that the breakfast was not replenished when you came down and we have informed the kitchen staff to keep an eye towards the end of breakfast that we still have items available for people arriving later. We hope that you will return to us soon!

Best regards,

I work in this area of NJ regularly and I have stayed in most of the hotel in this area at one time or another. This was the first time I have stayed at this particular location and I will be back. The room was clean, large, and comfortable.

Although I was only staying one night and arriving late it was nice to have a kitchen to eat my Subway sandwich that I had picked up on the way to the hotel. I can easily see myself staying here for longer periods when I am in town.

The free, full hot breakfast buffet in the morning was great. Although I wasn't early enough, I was interested to find that they even have evening meals and activities for guests. I am kind of hoping for a multi-night stay to come up in the near future. When that happens, I will update my review.

I found the Hotel to be a good one. It is in a peaceful environment. They donot have a restaurant, but they provide extended stay (kitchen in every suite). The breakfast is good. The hotel services were good. They have a Light weight room service which happens everyday. Room service is not available on weekends. You need to ask front desk for a full room service.

Room Tip: Try to get a room as close to the Main Hotel desk at the front side, else you will have to walk a lo...

Thank you for your comments! We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay. As you said, we do not have a restaurant on our property but we still offer our free daily full breakfast and the free Sundowner dinner on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights. As you mentioned too, if you don’t feel like going out you can easily cook anything you need too since there is a full size kitchen in the room. The housekeeping is a limited staff on the weekends, so you can request housekeeping on the weekends for the ‘light touch’ service free of charge, and as you said too, it is by request only. Thank you again and we’ll see you soon!

stayed here a few times...weekly stays to enjoy the BIG city, rooms are very clean and feel "homey" not like a hotel ....very few suites we have stayed in can actually do this....excellent front desk staff...very friendly and accomodating. Our biggest surprise is the dinners and activities for the guests! We have stayed in RCI timeshares that dont even offer events/get togethers like Staybridge ! They actually have draft beer available for free at the actually delicious lil dinners they put on for the guests....its a great soical meet and greet hour and while my hubby and I arent big drinkers, this is a 1st that someplace GIVES away something they could otherwise make a fortune selling....the property is huge and theres tons of exploring right there....we enjoyed all of our trips here and cant wait to return next year!

Room Tip: great Ruby Tuesdays right next door, look for coupons for buy 1 get 1 free dinners, FABULOUS steaks...

Thank you so much for your review of our property! We appreciate all the comments you left us. It is always great to have the large suite style rooms when you are away from home, so that you can be able cook your meals in a full size kitchen and having extra space too! We are pleased to here that you were able to attend our Sundowner dinner and that you enjoyed it so much! As you said, beer, wine, and soda are complimentary during the Sundowner, not to mention the dinner itself. We are happy that we are able to offer those products to our guests at no charge. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again soon!

I have been coming to the Staybridge for the past 8 years for business. This hotel is very accommodating. The staff is always helpful and assists with all your questions and needs. Maria has helped me set up catering, provided conference rooms and materials, provided recommendations for delivery restaurants and much much more. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The morning hot breakfast is very good and during the week they provide different dinners along with beer and wine. The dinners range from Chinese, BBQ, Italian and Chilidogs. There is always a fresh salad, soft drinks and chips. For the price and what you receive free in meals, it is a really great deal. You can always do your own grocery shopping as the rooms are equipped with full refrigerators, stove and microwave. For families this is ideal

Stayed at the hotel on 2 seperate weeks before and after Christmas on business.
The first week the suite was superb, clean, and comfortable. The second week there was limited availability and was assigned handicapped room. The second room was challenging with no room for luggage (difficult on a long-term stay) and not as modern (no dvd player etc)
As is with the case when staying one week or more, housekeeping is not done on a daily basis but there were no available trash cans for disposing of garbage daily, had to ask a maintenance employee who ended up taking it for me.
All that being said, the staff was superb, very friendly and accomodating. Free breakfast buffet is excellent and adds to the value of the pricing. There are many hotels on this stretch of Davidson Ave, but found this to be the most economical for my extended stay.
Having a full kitchen is definitely a plus and glasses, plates, silverware all adequately.
available.
You will need to drive for restaurants but the next door Marriott has a Ruby Tueday's connected to it.

Room Tip: Ground Floor rooms are easier if you have heavier luggage and easy to park in front of your block of...
