Our first visit to Ray's Café was a pleasant surprise. Bring you own and if you didn't, there's a liquor store across the street to help you out. Choice of homemade soup or salad with entrée. Nightly specials menu is offered along with their regular menu. Opted for two of the specials, a hungry-man ribeye and the shrimp and chicken DePalma. Salads were very fresh and homemade blue cheese dressing was tasty. Asked for medium rare on the ribeye however it was more to the medium doneness. Shrimp and chicken was with white wine and lemon sauce served over penne pasta. Ample portions and was able to bring home lunch for the next day! Clean operation and courteous service along with reasonable prices make it a great stop. A couple of tables set up street-side should you wish to dine outside.

We went to Ray's Cafe for the first time last weekend. One of the highlights was that you can bring your own which is one of the things that we like best. Everyone was very friendly, the owner came over and introduced himself, and there was a busy, lively crowd. I can't say that the food was the best we'd ever had, but it was good and plenty. We didn't know why there were bread plates on the table since we didn't get any bread. But overall we would go back.

We stopped in for lunch and the burgers were good. Saw that there was a lobster special and came back that night! A good deal and aside from the difficulty cracking the shells (needed a mallet), it was delicious. Ended up coming back for breakfast. Pancakes were not spongy at all. Good food at reasonable prices. A step up from the usual diner fare and a comfortable vibe.

What started out as just breakfast out, turned into a morning of strolling and shopping in the area near Ray's Cafe. Went to Ray's for the first time last Sunday for breakfast. There was a slight wait to be seated, but once inside, it was certainly worth it. Inside, very comfortable and relaxed. The wait staff was very attentive. I had steak and eggs, and the other 3 in my party had omelets. All looked and tasted great! Kudo's to all at Ray's Cafe! Will certainly be back!

We went to Spring Lake for the weekend and found this place in the town. First we had brunch there which was so delicious and plentiful! We then went back at night for their lobster specials, equally delicious. We brought our own wine and then were going to get more when Ray the owner said it would be his pleasure to get it for us which he did. What wonderful service and food here. We would have gone back the next day but they are closed on Mondays. Thanks Ray for a wonderful vacation!
