Our first visit to Ray's Café was a pleasant surprise. Bring you own and if you didn't, there's a liquor store across the street to help you out. Choice of homemade soup or salad with entrée. Nightly specials menu is offered along with their regular menu. Opted for two of the specials, a hungry-man ribeye and the shrimp and chicken DePalma. Salads were very fresh and homemade blue cheese dressing was tasty. Asked for medium rare on the ribeye however it was more to the medium doneness. Shrimp and chicken was with white wine and lemon sauce served over penne pasta. Ample portions and was able to bring home lunch for the next day! Clean operation and courteous service along with reasonable prices make it a great stop. A couple of tables set up street-side should you wish to dine outside.
