We had a big family reunion here, and there were some problems. There were weddings constantly, which limited our access to the lovely porch. Some people whose rooms were on the second floor could hear the music from the wedding reception at night. We had one of our group dinners in the private room, and it was pretty expensive for what we got. However, the place really worked well for our multi-age group: there is a swimming pool for the little kids, and they serve food at tables by the pool. I had breakfast and lunch at the restaurant, and it wasn't too expensive and wasn't bad. The beach is right across the street (but you're not allowed to bring food onto the beach). My room was just fine, although pricey. It's true the employees weren't terrific, but the place still turned out to work for our group.
