Today, I visited Liberty Hall for the first time. The historic mansion and grounds are beautifully maintained on the campus of Kean University. The guided tour provided interesting stories about NJ history from colonial times to the present. Two famous NJ families (the Livingston family and the Kean family) lived here for six generations. I believe children and adults would enjoy this site. There are beautiful grounds, a film before touring, and a wonderful exhibit of historic fire engines from Elizabeth and Union, NJ.
