Wonderful beach vacations every time here although it can't rival its southern counterparts. Quite similar to Atl. City but more family- oriented. Many amusements & rides on the piers and numerous eating possibilities. Hard-to-beat french fries. you haven't had them until you try some of the many different ones offered. An enjoyable experience for any age bracket. Great time but seasonally prohibited. Don't forget to watch for the tram car, PLEASE!

“Summer Nights On The Jersey Shore”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 December 2013

First time in Wildwood and obviously, the Boardwalk is the main attraction besides the beach. Well I know people hate the repetitive and cheesy t-shirt shops that line the boardwalk. And the greasy food and the tram car but hey, this is the boardwalk....not Rodeo Drive! We walked the boardwalk every night and we had a great time people watching, eating ice cream, Curley's Fries, Morey's Piers. It was really like all the many songs and stories you hear and read about the Jersey Shore! The kids loved it and enjoyed the atmosphere. Friday nights there are fireworks which are nice and last 10 - 15 minutes. What I hate are people who expect top-notch shopping and 5-star dining on the Boardwalk for little money. Sorry, but you want that, go to Disney's 5-star resorts or Atlantis in the Bahamas. I have been to all of them and each have their individual pros and cons. If you want great shopping, hop in the car and drive 50 minutes to Atlantic City like we did!

Wildwood's Boardwalk was enjoyable and easy-going. Basically, it came as advertised. As for the beach, I personally prefer the turquoise waters of the Caribbean where you can see the bottom. I guess it is a fear of what lurks beneath...lol. The beach itself is HUGE. And It is very clean. They keep the shore very clean and I really enjoyed the early morning walks on the silk sand. We will return to Wildwood.

“Best Boardwalk Anywhere!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 November 2013

The sights and sounds and smells of the classic boardwalk. The rides are endless and so much to do from the beach to arcades to putt putt. Watch for the tram car please will become a lifelong inside joke to your family. This place is awesome and you will male a lifetime of memories here.

“Love it!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 November 2013

I grew up in NJ, but had never been to Wildwood until this past Spring. I went to see a show at the Convention Center and fell in love with the place...went back with a friend in June and then to see another show in October...plan to make Wildwood a yearly event!!

“Great family experience that continues to evolve.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 November 2013

Forty five years ago this was the family resort attraction. A few years ago the WW boardwalk was a hangout for teens. Thankfully the WW communities have banded together to clean up the image of the boardwalk and return it to a family attraction. There are games of chance, arcades, amusement rides and every type of food. Don't forget to take a ride on the historic tram car (possibly the best way to see the full length of the boardwalk).
