We made a reservation for a 5 person room. (us and 3 teenaged children) We got the room for $159 a night, which was the cheapest I could find at the time. I knew what part of the boardwalk we would be near, so it sounded like a good idea. Upon arrival at the "hotel", we found that it was what seemed like an old boarding house turned into a "hotel". There is no check in desk here - only a sign asking you to go around the corner to the Quebec hotel to check in. When we got our room, it was about 10x10 and had a double bed and a bunk bed. The room was clean, I'll give them that. The bathroom had almost non-existent water pressure (at all times) and the towels were thin. We were given a paper shower mat to step on. I don't know what good that is supposed to do. The front door to the "hotel" is open all the time. Strange.
Yes, it is a short walk to the boardwalk and it is located directly behind the Boardwalk mall, which is right between two of the amusement piers. But I would not recommend this place to anyone. I've been to Wildwood many times and have stayed in many places - pay a little more money - it's worth it.More
