My friend and I went down to Wildwood for a day trip in June and let me just say staying at the Quebec was the worst decision we could have made. The staff was a little odd when we went to check in and the room was not clean. Granted the beds were made but the air conditioner (a wall unit) was apparently moldy inside and old. The air coming out of it smelled awful and made the whole room a very unpleasant place to stay. When we walked into the bathroom it smelled as if someone 'used' it right before we walked in. I don't know how this place stays in business. We only wanted a nice little place to stay overnight at. If I would have known we would have definitely looked elsewhere.

We stayed during beachblast. The good part is that others we knew stayed here too, it is a great location, near beach and boardwalk. The rooms were clean, however there are areas not cleaned in quite a while, lamp was very dirty, windowsill was disgusting, the rug makes your feet turn black, the toilet has a black rim inside of it, showing that hadn't been cleaned in a long time, the ceiling in the shower is showing alot of mold. The shower handle was very difficult to use, that was broken, it doesnt look like anything had been updated or replaced since the 1970,s, except the tv's, they're from the 1980's or early 1990's. We paid about $237/night, for that money, you really should get something better. The room is small, good for a family with 1 maybe 2 kids, no more than that or a bunch of 20 somethings looking to get drunk the whole time. The room is meant for you to not be in it, but with only 3 grills and tables, you need to put towels at a table by 10 to get one. We also noticed some rooms were nicer than ours and they paid less Or same amount, these older rooms should be at a discounted price. This motel is only worth about $150/night and that is generous because of it's location. Next year our group is looking into a different motel, after many years of coming and nothing is updated it is time for a change. The pool area is crowded, those staying at the calypso get to swim at the Quebec, and many during beachblast bring their friends and families back to pool, leaving little to no sitting area for those who are staying here. The maid service did their job and people seemed nice, but my honest opinion is this place is a dive in a good location that charges alot of money because they can.

Me and 3 close friends of mine were traveling to wildwood in celebration of a good year in education! We selected the Quebec because of its cheap pricing (we were on a budget) and closeness to the boardwalk. We arrived around noon, checked in, a the very friendly man at the front desk gave us our key. We happily made our way to our room on the second floor, opened the door, walked in, and were shocked. The room hadn't been cleaned since the last guest! There was trash all over the floor, the beds were un-made, the sink was filled with dishes, and the room smelled of something stale. We were quite surprised, found a maid, and had to wait 45 minutes outside by the pool to get into our room. They should make sure the rooms are clean before they give guests a key! it was not a good first impression.

The remainder of the week was interesting. About mid-way through a christian life camp of about 30-40 kids came to stay at the hotel. During the day they took up the entire pool, and at night they gathered in big rooms around the hotel singing christian songs with a guitar, making sleeping hard and getting around the place a challenge. Their very last night they blasted Ke$ha, were jumping all around the third floor, and were screaming until about 3am in the morning. When they left, a hispanic family reunion occured. More people came to the hotel then those of the christian life camp! They took up all the outdoor grills, the pool, and the entire hotel smelt like beans, rice, and onions. If you're planning on going, make sure no big groups are booked, or else you'll never get to use the pool!

Minus those few setbacks, the location of the Quebec is awesome. If you're planning on being on the boardwalk often, this place is ideal. It's only a few steps away, and although its also very close to the beach, it's an extremely long walk to get to the actual ocean, about a half mile walk on the sand, so don't carry too much. With your room key you got a discount to the 50's style restaurant down the street, which was fabulous and so cute and quaint. Get a burger and a milkshake! Parking was often hard at the hotel, but they do own another parking lot down the street for guest use only.

Towards the end of the week the air conditioner started to smell a little, and the windows don't open. The rooms do have a lock-able screen door type thing which works fine. When the maids did clean, they did a good job. If you needed and extra towels or pillows they were brought them up right away.

It's not a snazzy hotel, that's for sure. It could definitely use some work. But for young people on a budget, it was a good place to stay, and a great deal. Awesome location, friendly service, and means for a good time.

Room Tip: Go for the second or third floor, you can see the ocean & boardwalk from the third!

The Quebec was OKAY. I liked the convience of being so close to the boardwalk but I did not enjoy their air conditioning set up in the rooms. It was only one air conditioner in the room all the way in the back with the 2 double beds and it had to be on FULL BLAST to keep the person in the front part of the room cool so that leaves who ever is stuck in the back TOO cold and you also would have to leave your door open at all times with little to NO privacy. Everything in the room seemed old and outdated so if you like modern things this is not the hotel for you. Although my stay was not bad, I more than likely would not be coming back to this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 2nd or 3rd floors are probably less noisy

While still showing it's age, the quebec motel is clean, well kept, and has a friendly management. If you're into being in the middle of things, this is the place for you. It is near the beach and boardwalk, as well as convenient to one of the amusement piers. One car per room is the limit, but that is standard in Wildwood. It is partnered with the calypso hotel, so facilities are shared. It is a typical hotel for this shore area, above most of the others in upkeep and cleanliness. It offers both rooms and efficiencies, so all of your need can be met.

We had a great time in Wildwood and at the quebec motel. Rooms where clean and close to the boardwalk and beach. The kids really enjoyed the pool and free wireless internet. We will be going back next year for sure. Our stay was in early August and the place was loaded with Canadians which was kind of weird for us, but not a problem. They were all very polite and quiet at nights.

Me as well as 3 of my other girlfriends stayed for a week in July. It was the week before July 4th and let me just say it was the worst week we could have chosen. There was a christian bible camp who took up the whole pool and were extremely loud the last night of their stay! We had to call Roger, the manager at the desk to please tell them to quiet down (we had great reason to because it was one in the morning!) After the bible camp left the final morning, the resort was taken over by what seemed like a Mexican family reunion. These people were crowding up the pool and taking up every barbecue! Beans and onions wafted through our window air conditioning unit that already smelled like mold. They must not have changed the filter in a while. Anyway, the rooms had a nice spacious layout for us and were clean but I would advise you to check the week or weekend you are going for any types of parties or groups. The location is great right near the boardwalk and rides. But very loud!
