Spent Memorial Weekend at Carribean with another couple who had been there on previous occassion. This was special opening season weekend that had, of course, a Jimmy Buffet-Carribean theme. The included meals on all three evenings were tasty and plentiful. There were other couples of various ages and families with children. All blended OK during the meals which was about the only time we saw anyone else. We and our friends spent each day visiting some N.J. wineries, Cape May and other sites. We likely would have spent more time on the beach but with 50ish temps and strong winds we did not want to be sandblasted. Overall the stay at the Carribean was nice. The only negative comments we left for the managment had to do with a very slow drain in the bathroom sink and the bed nearest the door which seemed to have a crater in the middle. The other bed was much better.

This hotel is very cute! It is amazing! The heated pool, one block away from the boardwalk, the famous Jetsen ramp, the afternoon and night lights, and more! The rooms are very cute and small and has a speaker in the ceiling that you can control with a knob on the wall, it's got it all! A mini cabana room, with a tv, fridge, bathroom, seating area, leopard skinned couch, a little bar area and more! And, there is an ice cream parlor across the street! I really recommend staying here!

The owners, George and Carolyn, are wonderful hosts for their theme weekends. We have stayed for 2 ====the 60s and the Romantic getaway in October. Chef Mike wowed us with his seafood pasta, prime rib and the meatloaf was wonderful. On our check-in in October , the maid had beautiful swans (our towels) awaiting us along with a champagne gift from the owners. It was a wonderful touch being our anniversary=====although everyone received them it made our stay special. The musical talent provided, Greg, was good ...but definintely needs to expand his music lists...too much Beatles...was very rude when Rolling Stones were suggested, yelling to the gentleman in the crowd. Will return but hopeful Greg loses abit of his ego.

Room Tip: the honeymoon suite is wonderful

My daughter and I stayed here about 4 years ago. It was a short stay back then but it was a nice one. The rooms were clean, the pool was nice and it was close to the beach & boardwalk. This summer I tried getting a room (last minute) for the Labor Day weekend by using their website but didn't get an answer within the 48 hours as stated. I was able to get my second request (8/29-8-8/31). The motel's parking spaces are narrow but not too bad. I was able to get in and out. We arrived at their check in time of 3pm and the room was ready. The front desk was handled by an older gentleman who was pleasant. My room on the 2nd floor looked like the pictures but for some reason thought it was nicer 4 years ago. Once inside, my picky self checked everything from top to bottom. From the bad -- bedding (couple of stains here and there), drapes stained, inside front door stained, carpet filthy. To good -- bathroom was clean, the fridge and microwave was a plus. The woman in charge of housekeeping was a sweetheart. She was quick with requests and did them with a smile. Just wished our room was cleaner. Outside - the pool (& surrounding area), laundry room and motel itself was clean. The cabana room was funky. The 50s music provided outside the motel is fun so if this is for you then you will enjoy it.

we stayed here and were happy with the room and motel . The only things i didnt like was there is no alarm clock (we used cell phones) and no hair dryers. I felt the beds and pillow were a bit hard, but i did fall alseep. Pool clean, grounds immaculate, staff very friendly and helpful. Parking is tight, you need to pull 1/2 way in get out of car then pull all the way up (not a big deal-because they are in walking distance to so much you will never move your car till you leave) Walking distance to alot of restaurants, ice-cream parlors, beach and boardwalk. Would recommend this hotel to others.
