On a Monday -Friday stay in a two room efficiency. Hadn't stayed here in a number of years, but, always liked the location. Found it pretty much the same with a heated pool and access to the beach right off the pool. While it was very clean, it could use some spiffing up; although not many meals were prepared in the mini kitchen, the utensils were lacking(no knife to cut a lime) for instance. Adequate coffee shop. 25 cents for a bucket of ice. Tight parking for one car per room. Found the entire town to be very crowed this time of year, restaurants busy, etc. Not my favorite resort area, but, only a 2 hour drive. Prefer South Florida this time of year as it is the off season there, and more relaxing.

Room Tip: Pool side is nice, but side view is quieter.

Its a nice joint but it is a little loud at night I went there last July and August and the nights get crazy with the drinking .but overal it not to bad.I was there this past June and it was much quieter then last July I think a different crowd was there .and there was an old old bag in her fifties with a bad bleach job something from the 1980s she was walking around like if she was in heat she kept everyone amused the views are nice .and not to mention the heavy Italian women with a short dyed black lesbian haircut she looked like something right out from the trailer park she had a reputation of a brood Mayer.and was into black men .

The Villa Nova is by no Means a 5 star delux hotel. It is, however, a place that is what going to the beach for vacation vacation is all about. The staff is friendly and cares about you and your family. No college groups. It is Great for what you get!

Nice little hotel right on the beach. Cafe next door is always a plus. Not renting to college kids eliminates the drunks that inhabit most Wildwood hotels. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and funny, and the location is great. Will be staying here again Memorial Day 2013

I'm not sure where the last comment came from but maybe these people should check the actual name of the Motel and their facts before writing a review. For one, the Motel is not even open until Memorial Day weekend. For another, there is a rule in place where no one under 25 is allowed to rent unless its strictly a couple. This is not a "senior week" party destination but rather a family friendly motel right on the beach in Wildwood Crest. See for yourself. Any time of year there are large families that bring their children of all ages. Harold and JoAnn go out of their way to accommodate all guests both regulars and new. I've been staying at the motel regularly for 25 years and make several trips down each summer. Any noise and nonsense is not tolerated. Office open from 9 am- 10 pm with onsite security after hours. Place is always clean and every effort is made by the entire staff to ensure a great stay. I'd recommend to anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway right on the free beaches of Wildwood Crest but close enough to the action in Wildwood or Cape May.
