My wife, my 2 year old son and I recently returned from a stay at the Pan American under their Columbus Day weekend package. This package included a hotel room for 3 nights, on site breakfast every day, one on site lunch and one dinner at a choice of a number of local restaurants in the area. What a great deal!! The hotel was great from top to bottom. The rooms were updated and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and always looking to help. I am usually very skeptical about non-chain hotels and with the in-laws booking the accommodations I was weary but boy did they find a gem. My wife and I loved it so much that we already booked for both Mothers Day and Columbus Day weekends next year. While the weather did not cooperate with our beach vacation, the Pan American was a great spot to hang out and we cannot wait to come back next year.

For over l0 years we had the pleasure of staying at the Pan American and every one of our visits has always been the very best! This year they even arranged PERFECTION with the weather! Anything you need, they are always there to help! Very clean and the most friendly staff ever! Another great addition to your visit to the Pan Am, is Alosi's Restaurant. Their food is great, the restaurant is simply beautiful looking out onto the pool and the ocean and the staff is so welcoming and cheerful!
It is truly our second home and as comfortable as our own home here in Pennsylvania!
The BEST IN THE CREST!!!

Once again, we had a great stay at the Pan American. Even the weather cooperated and gave us a fabulous week. The only negative was our continuing problems with their DVD players. We never seem to have any luck with those. Otherwise, we had an excellent stay and look forward to going back in 2014.

Room Tip: The oceanfront corner rooms are excellent!

This hotel met every expectation. Clean, friendly, great location and positive atmosphere. Our room had a kitchenette which had Corelle dishes and Kitchenaid appliances with a fullsize coffee maker and a toaster. Refrigerator is a perfect size. Kids loved the built-in wall bunkbeds.

It was our first trip to the Jersey Shore and we did not know exactly what to expect. One of us (Hmmm....wonder which one?) is not a fan of motel settings, so when we discovered the Pan American, we were delighted. As soon as we walked into the lobby, we were taken by the interesting décor and the friendly greeting at the desk. Throughout our stay, the staff were quietly attentive, which we value. Our room was perfect. We had an ocean front suite with a balcony and we could, indeed, smell the sea and feel the sky when we opened our balcony doors. The room was spotless and well appointed. The kitchen area had everything we could ever need. (It really is a joy to prepare your own meals for a change after days on the road, especially in your pj's and on your own timeline. Wildwood has great grocery stores.) The living/dining area was just right in size and in comfort. The bedroom and bath were excellent. People often comment on the distance between the buildings and the beach on this shore. We enjoyed this walk as part of the overall experience. The beach outside the Pan American is amazing. It was not crowded when we were there and the views in every direction are outstanding. There's a long pier right there inviting you to walk out to its beautiful sitting area. The pool area was attractive with lots and lots of cushy looking chairs, however, not being pool people we can't comment more than that. Parking around the hotel was plentiful or underground parking was available. The boardwalk is so close you could be there in minutes. The first area of the boardwalk is the quiet, strolling type where you just soak in the setting. When you reach the busy, built up part, there are tons of sights and sounds to savour. We walked the whole length one morning and our walk was not impeded in any way by the unusual hordes of bicycles of all shapes and sizes pedalling by us. Although many attractions were closed for the season, many were open. We couldn't imagine what it would be like there when everything was in full operation! We sipped coffee and ate frozen custard and smiled. We should mention that one evening we did go out to a local restaurant and were surprised to find out that Wildwood Crest is "dry". With an ample wine supply in our room, this was no worry, just surprising. The Pan American is a great place to walk by the sea, fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up in a lovely room fully relaxed. We recommend it whole heartedly.

My family has been going to the Pan American for many years....first as a kid, and now with my family nearly 35 years later. The Morey family keeps their properties in great shape, always very clean, updated and well kept. They are very accommodating and friendly. We have severe mold and food allergies in our family which can be challenging to accommodate, but The Pan American always manages to meet our needs and surpass our expectations. As they approach their 50th Anniversary, I would like to both thank them for being a part of our family's rich memories and congratulate them on such a successful and quality business venture!

The Pan American is the best place to stay in the Crest! The other reviews are on the money. My family and I have stayed here many a year and it just keeps getting better. I love the fact that they are continually updating the facility. The rooms are beautiful. The pool is my personal favorite! From the management to the staff everyone is professional and works to take care of the guests. You will not find a better place to stay!

Room Tip: I like the pool side. Amazing ocean views!
