We visit Jeffrey's Bay for the first time at the beginning of March 2014 , our daughter has recently settled in this area and we were visiting from Bradford, Ontario, Canada. We wanted our own space and my daughter and her husband found this wonderful guesthouse for us to stay at. The accommodations were excellent! Every morning while eating a delicious breakfast, we would watch about 30 dolphins play in the ocean., what a treat! The Host Zandra and Ross are very down to earth and very accommodating. Willing to do whatever is needed to make your stay just a little more pleasant. Every evening when we would return from our daughters, there was always a fire going in the fireplace on the open deck outside and tranquil music play in the common area. Anyone who is into surfing, this is the place to be, world class surfing at your finger tips. Miles and miles of beaches and plenty of sea shell awaiting to be collected. The three girls that work for Zandra and Ross, are friendly, efficient and a joy to be around. The next time we go to Jeffrey's Bay this is where we will be staying, can't wait to go back!!!!!

We stayed here for two nights last weekend. This was very different to other accommodation on our trip but so good. It is not just for surfers. The room was excellent with an inexpensive mini bar. Local restaurants are great but you can also self cater. The managers are helpful but relaxed and only the guests stay in the building at night. The views are superb over a beautiful beach. Sad to leave and hope to return!

Very affordable and feels like a home. I wish I could stay forever at the guesthouse. The beach is right on your doorstep, beautiful views, beautiful food, beautiful relaxing rooms, beautiful out door seating and fire place, surf/boggie boards to borrow, lovely staff, and an amazing beautiful library in the lounge (with a view of the beach of course) which I wish I could have spent a week just relaxing and reading. If I ever run away from my life I will most likely be found at this guest house again! I recommend taking the free taxi to the seafood restaurant the staff will suggest, the food is grand.
Before we left out the door in the morning the chef handed us a little wrapped bag of home baking, very sweet idea.
We made to feel special here.

The Shaloha Guesthouse has a spacious building which makes you feel comfortable at once. The location has superb views on the Supertubes and is very close to supermarkets and a good, local restaurant (Nina's) with a nice mixture of local families and surfers. Though is a selfcatering guesthouse it feels like a 4/5 star hotel. A very good place to relax

Room Tip: The rooms with their own balcony are superb, the others standard

We stayed 3 nights in Shaloha and fell in love. This guesthouse is perfectly situated right on Supertubes and has the most amazing views. We stayed in the White Milkwood suite and it was divine, we struggled to leave! Our next trip to Jeffreys Bay will definitely involve a longer stay in Shaloha!
