The first night of arrival I was booked in a room, but when I wanted to open the wooden door to the outside, I was stuck inside. I staff on duty immediately arrange and assist with my luggage to another room. I stayed for 3 nights and it was soo great. The cleaning, kitchen and reception staff did an excellent job, they are friendly, helpful and assist where ever they could. To see Natalie's friendly face in the morning was like a breeze of fresh air.

Room Tip: Room number 9 was amazing and I had a wonderful stay, thank you.

We stayed two nighjts in this hotel. The second night we were the only guests, so low season. We had a huge room with a comfy bed and a nice sitting area and dito bathroom. Housekeeping was amazing as she dryed our wet towels and kept our room superclean. Breakfast is on the terras with both days someting extra like muffins or fruitsalads. Warm breakfast to be ordered. The hotel has a nice garden (with bushbabies at night) and a pool. Maintanance of the pool could be a little better (cleaning) and some nice chairs would have been nice. Receptionist and manager were very helpful an tentative. Tzaneen is a nice tropical area with nice trips to make.

An environment that created a relaxing comfortable stay with very freindly staff that assisted. Rooms were comfortable, parking was accessible, breakfasts were great, facility is maintained and the location is central to all.

When booking my trip, I was excited to see the photos of the pretty garden and the four star rating sealed the deal. When I arrived I was taken to a twin bed room and the domestic worker helped up to move to a double bed room (which should have been done automatically as we're married). The new room smelled musty but got used to it. What was disturbing was the noise the first night from the tables for breakfast (above our heads) being scraped across the floor in the middle of the night, and other drunk guests sitting outside our room talking loudly. Then breakfast...the cereal, fruit and yoghurt were average, then we asked for scrambled eggs with mushrooms and cheese and got scrambled eggs with a portion of weird onion, green and red pepper and tiny bit of mushrooms next to it and a little bowl of cheese on the side...it is not four star presentation at all. The pool was nice but when sitting on the deck chairs the mosquitoes had a party on us so we went back to our room. So, therefore I say it was an average hotel.

Stayed for one night, easy check-in, they let us check out super late, which was great. Our room was a bit dark unfortunately, but the tub was nice and large. Unfortunately no shower--well it had a shower head but it shot directly out of the wall across the room with no glass door to block the water from going everywhere. The breakfast was nice and hearty. We left after one night because it was a bit expensive for us and it turned out there were other places very near for less than half the price.

Room Tip: Ask about the door situation in the bathroom. Does it go straight into the room with no door? Does the shower have a door? Rooms 10 and 11 are around a corner on their own, which is nice for privacy, but they are a bit dark and if it rains, you have to run through the rain to get to breakfast.
