“Best meal ever!”
Reviewed 17 June 2014

My wife took me for lunch at Grande Provence for Father's Day. What a treat! The chefs prepared the most delectable and tasty three course meal, I have ever tasted. Try the Galaxy of flavors desert, wow! This is a must for any person traveling to Franshoek.

“Excuisite Pinot Noir food & wine pairing ”
Reviewed 14 June 2014 via mobile

I was lucky enough that the PN pairing (being a favourite cultivar of mine) coincided with my birthday week. Excellent communication from GP via e-mail re booking and payment and first class service from René beforehand and on the night. Seated at the fireplace as requested. An honour to have the wine makers from respectively Iona, Hamilton Russell, Creation and GP talk about their wine. The chef did brilliantly with pairing his dishes and the roasted quail with the pearl barley for me was especially excellent. The desserts were just TOO special. We had a fantastic & special evening. I recommend these pairings. Great service and a lovely atmosphere.

“A winery with truly great wines”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

We went there in March on a Saturday afternoon just as they were about to close, the outside area was closed but the staff inside duly gave us a tasting of note. All the wines were palatable but the one that stood out was the Grand Provence " Gold medal winning" Cab/Sav, which were bought. Stunning setting with some unusual sculptures in the grounds.
