We booked this after reading a good review on Trip advisor and the restaurant did not disappoint. A lovely quiet setting in a lane just off the main drag. The fire was blazing and the atmosphere was warm & relaxed. We ordered a parma ham & gorgonzola salad which was nice enough though little did I know what was coming...The Haute Espoir 2009 chardonnay was sublime. John & I both ordered the Angel Fish and crushed potatoes. I asked the waiter to get me the recipe but the talented chef seemed shy so I left it alone. Well I think volumes could be written about the fish but then I wouldn't have anything to say about the warm chocolate torte fresh out of the oven....its the kind of dessert that makes you feel reincarnated ;-)) I always take a doggie bag and sorry for our collies, there were no treats!
