This is a good option if you have a heavy lunch or want a break from fine dining. The restaurant cleverly provides tapas and a complimentary shuttle to and from your hotel. We loved the ease, convenience and food was just right.

We had an early Sunday lunch here. We were greeted at the door and found the management and staff to be friendly and attentive. The vegetarian choices are great with a better than average variety. The dishes are well priced and the food simply tasted great. The wine list has enough options to satisfy everyone. Additionally, the bathrooms are well kept and clean.

We had been recommended another restaurant, but after an argument about tables we just happened on Allora. Friendly staff, a great atmosphere and great food turned our evening from annoying to happy. I had the chicken livers and the veal, both with wonderful sauces, and my husband had stuffed and grilled shrimp, which were plentiful and very tasty.

Walking towards the entrance of Allora, you'd expect a small cafe-style place. Our eyes widened at the size of the restaurant on two levels. Due to its decoration, it's still very cozy, has a friendly vibe to it - and really nice food.

We live slap bang between Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek and are blessed with numerous high end, fancy, expensive, fine dining restaurants. Our challenge is to find a normal, good, value for money restaurant where we can just pop in any night and have a good meal. Last night we decided to go to Allora and they moved into town into a beautiful, new space! Wonderful, warm welcome and options of sitting outside, downstairs or upstairs. I could see the artwork in the gallery opposite and we had a lovely evening. Chose from a selection of nibbles and they were so delicious, next time my whole meal is going to be nibbles. Little tasters for R20-R35 and yummy. A big menu for a big restaurant, but it still felt cozy. Bill for two beers, carafe of white wine, two nibbles and two mains were just over R400.00. I'll also go back for the avo and salmon stack and the panacotta. Think this may become a new favourite.
