Cafe BobBon restaurant is at the very far end of the town, so transport is essential if you intend to dine here.
We visited for an evening meal having made a booking. The restaurant is in a wonderful setting within a wine estate. A huge room with well spaced tables and tasteful decor form the basis of this restaurant.
The choice of food is not extensive but the menu is very well balanced with fish, meat and pasta dishes. The staff are attentive and keen to please and Marie- louise, the ever helpful manager was available all evening to assist if there were any problems.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and this restaurant certainly deserves it's steadily improving TA ranking.
Certainly worth visiting if you wish to avoid the classic tourist venues in the centre of Franschhoek.
