“Vintage Soul”

We have driven through this area so often and only noticed this discreet small sign under the wine farm's name. We actually passed and turned back, and all I can say it was well worth it!

The museum is situated on an access controlled wine farm and is housed in four large modern "barn's" and placed in a strolling garden.

You know you vintage when you find a "chopper" bicycle on display and it was similar to the one I had as child.

Seriously, there were so many beautiful cars and memorabilia on view that we did not realise how long we wandered through this magnificent walk through time.

Thoroughly enjoyed it!

“Excellent collection of cars”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 May 2014

We made a special trip on the recommendation of a friend and were glad we did. This small, but very elite collection, has some rare cars and an emphasis on classic racing and touring cars which are immaculately presented. Each car stands on a white base with plenty of space around and the powerful lighting makes natural light photography easy. The staff are very pleasant and there is a small cafe for a convenient break in walking around the 4 buildings.

It would be improved even further in my opinion if some of the cars had their bonnets (hoods) up to show the engine and maybe some with doors open to show the interior.

Many museums have more cars than these but I doubt if any have so many cars in such good condition.

“Small, but a must for fans of cars!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 May 2014

I was surprised to find such a selection of fine cars in such a small museum. MacLaren F1 Supercar was particularly surprising. I would not make a specific trip just for the Museum, but there are plenty of nearby Farms and restaurants to justify a trip to the area....

“Fabulous motor Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 May 2014

Wonderful collection of a very broad range of motorcars and the odd motorbike. Some very rare cars and all are in excellent condition and very well displayed. Each car has a relevant and well-written information stand beside it.

The museum itself is extremely well-kept and a great place to visit. Well worth a detour if you have any interest in motorcars.

“Interesting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 April 2014

A good outing for families with children and for all dads! There is a big collection of old and new cars and it is amazing to see the progress made over the years. The venue is clean and everything was kept in good order. 90 minutes should be sufficient time if you have a full programme.
