I loved this guest house as it was typically modern South African. Clean, bright, soft colours, smart decor and gorgeous views. We woke up to views of the mountains followed by an expertly cooked breakfast by some delightful staff. I liked the proximity to the village of Franschoek as it was so quiet and restful and if you didn't feel like walking you could drive. A really nice base to see the beautiful Franschoek and Stellenbosch vineyards.

Room Tip: All nice but I think we had room 2 which faced the mountains on 2 sides and had a balcony.

Beautiful guest house. Lovely spacious rooms, amazing breakfast, and helpful friendly staff. I did see that others had written that it is a bit far from town to walk. We thought it was reasonable walk during daylight. 5 stars without a second thought!

A marvellous place with fantastic facilities and very welcoming hosts. The house is stunning the rooms are very well appointed and despite some reviews on here there is absolutely no problem walking into town, it is a safe and easy walk. We would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay here , a wonderful welcome to South Africa

We stayed at this guest house for one night only, but it was realy worth it! Very central and very friendly staff. Every thing you need was availible. spending the afternoon next to pool was very relaxing. The rooms are well wonderfull. So is the breakfast, wich was served with very friendly staff. I can recomend this guesthouse and I will defintly go and stay there again with my next visit there.

Room Tip: Try and book the bottom room. You have you're own courtyard and sort of away from the rest of the guest house.
