We have eaten at Funiki many times since it opened in April 2013. This is a very special experience. It is all all about authentic Japanese food with Sensei - the Owner; Chef; and Front of House Celebrity - an essential part of the visit. Don't expect just a quick snack of Sushi, although Sensei's Sushi is excellent. Be prepared to sit and spend time enjoying some of the special dishes on offer. Make sure you phone first as there are limited covers and Sensei always wishes to confirm that he has sourced the freshest of ingredients for the day. See you there!!
