We spent the first 2 nights of our holiday here, great to be back. What we love most is the friendliness of the hosts, Angelique really went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay. Loved the fact we could self cater if we wanted to as well. Really brilliant place to stay, and hope to be back again soon, thanks so much!

Room Tip: The self catering cottage is brilliant!

I have to admit, that this is my first review of a place i have stayed in. So its good to start with a good note. I totally enjoyed my stay in CPeak. My unit, separate house actually had everything one would need. Open plan kitchen, 2 separate bedrooms, large bathroom. Its more suitable for large party, not that i did complain. There was jacuzzi and pool outside, that i didnt use as the weather wasnt that hot, but both looked good. Breakfast was served at the separate unit by the pool, and i was happy with it. Times were pretty flexible as well. You need a car to move around Hout Bay, as the suitable restaurants are 5-10 min drive away, but you need a car in CT anyway. Theres a parking space behind the house and you have remote to open the gate. The only negative about car business is, that you cant enjoy the wine around the bay. My hosts were really accommodating. Thank you Kenneth and Angelique. All in all, good stuff. Ps. definitely take Chapmans Peak Drive, iconic experience.

Room Tip: Take family unit, even if travelling alone. Its worth it.

very nice, clean, friedly place, very well equipped and near all you might need on holidays

Angelique and Kenneth were of a very good advise about places to visit, kids loved the spa and the swimming pool, parents loved the baby sitting service! definitely a place where we will come back. Great value for money, loads of toys and a playground for the kids, well equipped kitchen, very good breakfast. we have stayed in the family cottage which is perfect for a family with 2 kids.

We stayed with Kenneth and Angelique for about 2 weeks in November 2012. The location is nice very close to everything in Hout Bay and only 15 minutes drive from Camps Bay & Cape Town on in the north, and the surfspots in Muizenberg, Kommetje in the south. The accomodation is clean and all rooms have a whirlpool. We stayed both the family cottage and the deluxe suite.

The hosts are extremely friendly and they help you with all your needs - a real home away from home experience like staying with friends.

Room Tip: go for the deluxe if you do not have kids, the bed is bigger and the room is more private

After the first part of our honeymoon we stopped in Houtbaai for a few days and Chapman's Peak B&B was the perfect place to end the perfect honeymoon. Kenneth and Angelique made us feel right at home and taken care of from the first minute we arrived. The experience was more like visiting good friends than staying at a B&B.

The cottage was more than we expected with modern finishes and all the facilities you would expect of a top geusthouse. The first night we were treated with the honeymoon package that included a snack platter and sparkling wine that we enjoyed in the jacuzzi.

We would recommend this B&B to all and my new wwife and myself will definitly be visiting again.

To our hosts, thank you for making the last few days of our honeymoon so special ! Riekert & Elriette.

It has been a real pleasure to spend a couple of days in this B&B. We rented the family cottage that is not huge, nor a luxury accommodation, but you have anything you need to sleep well and entertain your children (including toys and digital TV with children channels). The kitchen has everything for self catering, and equipment is new and clean. The B&B also offers Jacuzzi, swimming pool and an outside area for kids that we did not use just because we were on the last two days of our holiday and we wanted to stay outside as much as we could. The private parking is very useful. We found the location excellent, as the B&B is in a very quite area of Hout Bay, a two minutes drive from shops, restaurants and harbor. And Hout Bay is pleasant small town in itself. As you are only 20 minutes away from Cape Town and 5 minutes from the beginning of Chapman’s Peak Drive, this is a perfect starting point to explore the region. Last but not the least, you can find in Kenneth a perfect guest, more like a friend than your landlord. Hopefully we will be back in the region, and we will for sure go back at Chapman’s peak B&B!
