We stopped on the hop on, hop off bus at Imizamo Yethu. We had thought about whether we should or not, but our waiter at the guest house, who lived in a township himself, said it would be a good thing to do. We were met at the bus by Africa, one of the guides. He was passionate, articulate and knowledgeable. We bought some locally made jewellery and left some money for Africa to buy the children some biscuits. It didn't seem enough. All in all I am glad we went, but still a bit uncomfortable that a township is a tourist attraction.
