My wife was working in Roberson and we decided to arrive the evening before and stayed in one of the local hotels. Based on TripAdvisor reviews, we decided to try the Roberson Small Hotel. This was by far one of the most memorable stays in a long time. The ambiance, food, rooms and service was out of this world. In short, we will be back to enjoy.

Room Tip: Arrive as early as possible and stay as long as you can!

My husband took my away for the weekend with our 2 year old son to this hotel and we had the most wonderful time. All the staff were incredibly friendly and very patient with our (quite 'busy') 2 year old son.
It's not really a place for children but we didn't have much choice and actually it worked out fine.
It's a very romantic hotel and the food is excellent - we would definitely return.

Room Tip: We had one of the large suites that give straight onto the big pool but there are 2 smaller rooms th...

We stayed two nights in this delightful property where rural tranquility blends seamlessly with sophisticated luxury. The service was superb and we loved the restaurant. Robertson can be very hot in summer and the two pools provided the perfect respite.

Room Tip: All rooms are beautifully appointed and most are practically within diving distance from a pool.

We stayed here for 2 nights over a weekend and what a divine little spot. Rooms are divine, huge, spacious, comfortable, everything your heart desires. The service from the bar, restaurant, housekeeping, reception all fantastic. If you want a real spoil, book now.

Room Tip: Book a room along the pool as the rooms in the Manor House are noisy due to wooden flooring and clos...

This hotel is a very elegant old manor house. We received a very warm welcome and were shown to a room at the front of the house which was tastefully furnished and quiet. Breakfast was served on the patio with good choices and good service. We had our evening meal there too which was excellent. Maybe we were lucky reading some other reviews but you speak as you find and our meals were really good. This hotel is great for a stop over as Robertson is a small town, but we really enjoyed our two night stay.Would thoroughly recommend.

We arrived and were warmly welcomed. The car park was at the back of the hotel, and spacious enough for us to offload our bags at our ease.

The hotel was delightful and very clean - the only slight surprise was the patio slabs in the driveway and the outside restaurant were not 100% level and some wobbled slightly... but this was not a major concern.

The restaurant and service were first class, as was the friendly bar man.

Hotel staff were efficient and very friendly, and went out of their way to help.

Lovely rooms and pool - designer style without being 'bling'

Room Tip: Rooms near the pool have a balcony that actually leads you to the pool - very chic and attractive fe...

Having read the reviews and visted the hotel's website, we were very excited at the prospect of staing at the Robertson Small Hotel but sadly, it didn't quite live up to our expectations. The hotel grounds and rooms are absolutely gorgeous and very luxurious, but sadly our meals and the slightly false, over the top service spoilt our stay. In particular, when my boyfriend's pork belly arrived less than luke-warm, we very politely asked for it to be reheated slightly...it returned quite literally charcoalled and totally ruined. At breakfast, my soft poached eggs turned out to be hard boiled, but I was reluctant to say anything after the disappointment of the pork belly. Such a shame, as the food was one of the aspects we had most looked forward to, and the exciting menu and flavour combinations had the potential to be amazing. It was nonetheless a fantastic hotel, and we'd be tempted to stay again but maybe eat elsewhere.

Room Tip: We stayed in one of the Manor House Suites which was stunning, but due to its location right next to...
