The Small Hotel is an oasis of calm in a bustling agricultural town. The main house and gardens have been beautifully restored and maintained, we had a pool room which was spacious with excellent linen and a modern feel and everything worked well.

The restaurant is first class, eating inside with a/c or on the shaded terrace, good wine list or personally choose a wine from their 'cellar'.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool room suite or for more privacy the suites at the back of the main house which have th...

Beautiful and charming hotel less than two hours from Cape Town. The staff and management went out of their way to make our stay impeccable and helped us with activities and suggested alternative restaurants for lunch as well as some wonderful vineyards.
The restaurant was lovely with a nice balance choice and pleasant service. Excellent wine list.
The pools and gardens are charming. Rooms very comfortable with lovely bathrooms.
Would love to return.

Room Tip: We had lovely pool suites...cannot go wrong in the summer!

a beautiful setting, modern boutique with country feel, tranquil and relaxed. Suitable for young adults and older folk. Attention to small detail - excellent. All staff are personal yet not in your face. Small but offers a number of different intimate spaces to relax in.
Cannot wait for my next visit with my family!

We stayed one night in the main house, main deluxe. The room was big, nice art, great atmosphere. Bathroom large with all trimmings.
Service of all the staff was very good, they made us feel really welcome and valued guests.
The restaurant: great food and good recommendation of wine.
The staff operates like a team that has fun doing their work.

What a surprise. This is the most romantic hotel we have stayed in. On arrival we were greeted warmly with a glass of orange. Then given a choice of rooms we chose a pool room which stepped straight from your room. The rooms were lovely and spacious with a complimentary mini bar. We Stayed for dinner one night which was superb as was breakfast. Without doubt this will be on our itinerary for next year I can't wait!
