What a relief, arriving in the sweltering heat, to this cool shady quaint gust house.
My room was downstairs with a huge bed and a nice bath room with a large shower.
There was a lovely swimming pool under the tree’s so it wasn’t long before we were cooling off.
Breakfast was delicious and you ordered what you wanted on arrival.
What more could one want quite, spotlessly clean, cool in summer and a great breakfast.

Room Tip: The downstairs room is the coolest, in Summer.

Cedar Lodge has everything needed for a relaxing and pleasant short stay. Delicious breakfast. We have never tasted a nicer fruit salad than the special one made by Paul. Ask Paul about his days as a rally and racing driver. He has some really interesting stories to tell. We will definitely choose Cedar Lodge the next time we need to stay over in Robertson. Highly recommended!.

Paul and Lynn are very nice hosts. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the wonderful garden and pool. They also gave good recommendation concerning the area.
Breakfast which was served outside was delicious.
Our room was a bit small, but very well equipped and very clean. It had everything we needed.
We can for sure recommend this place

Room Tip: If you have the choice choose the bigger rooms

Paul and Lynne made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to give us information about the area, wineries and places to eat. The room was very clean and comfortable and provided everything you required, it was a little small but we only slept in it so it didn't matter at all. Breakfast on the deck was delicious and a late afternoon swim in the pool was lovely and relaxing, playing with the dogs made it feel like home. We would love to return and do a proper wine tour in the area - just need to save for the next trip !

Paul and Lynn are most attentive hosts. The rooms - although on the small size, was tastefully decorated and pristinely clean. The room overlooked their well manicured garden where breakfast ( too die for ! ) is usually served on the deck. Paul is absolutely invaluable as far as his extensive knowledge about the Robertson area goes. We would love to return and explore some of these gems. We were also hugely surprised to get a phone call from Paul after our return to East London, enquiring about our trip and safe return ! This was a first and sits high in our regard as visitors ! It is easy to see why your guests keep on returning !

What a nice experience! A very warm welcome from Paul, Lynne and their playful dogs. We were allowed to place some stuff in their fridge and freezer what was very helpful. The rooms are not big but very clean and comfortable, each with a nice outdoor sitting area! Beautiful garden, clean pool, bird lovers paradise. The breakfast was freshly prepared and quite filling – delicious. During and after our breakfast we chatted to our hosts and “no wonder” we became friends.
This guest house was the ever best start of a journey; thanks to Paul & Lynne. Please, guys, continue like that and all your guests will come back again and again.
