Always a wonderful experience. Paul and Lynne are the best hosts and I always feel as if I am visiting friends. They make you feel special and their home is warm and welcoming.
Robertson is a fantastic place to spend a couple of nights.

Good service, great breakfast and a pleasant overnight stay. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Perfectly suited for an overnight stop. I found the room to be on the small side so if you are planning to stay longer than 1 night, consider requesting the family suite. Would stay there again.

This charming guest house is set in a tropical garden with the Langeberg Mountains as a backdrop. Paul and Lynne are exceptionally considerate hosts and nothing is too much trouble.

Cedar Lodge is a little gem.

The place is quite nice, the rooms are nice, but they are very small. We struggled with 2 adults and 2 suitcases in our room.
We organised a wine tour with the hosts which was brilliant. We really enjoyed it. I would recommend staying here simply for that. However, make sure that you check your bill on leaving. As part of the wine tour the host pays for your lunch and then they put it on your bill when you leave which seemed a bit unneccesary. Our costs seemed to be a little bit higher than we remembered. Also, we were offered a lift to and from a restaurant as we were unfit to drive after the wine tour. This was also added to our bill. It wasn't the fact that we were charged, but that we didn't know we would be. It was also the shortest and most expensive taxi ride that we had on the entire trip. It had been a great stay prior to this, but it left an unsavoury taste.

Have subsequently checked the bill, we discovered that there was in fact an error on our part in the charge for the restaurant transfer and a part refund has been passed to the guest.

With regard to the wine tour lunch we have also passed a part refund for this, although the guest did offer to pay the whole bill at the time.

We would advise guests to check their bill prior to departure in order that any discrepancies can be sorted out there and then and thus alleviate any ill feeling afterwards.

We had the pleasure of staying at Cedar Lodge where we were welcomed by the hosts who appeared very helpful to make our stay a memorable experience.
There was not any restarants in the vicinity but don't worry dinner was offered with South African speciallities and the best South African wines. Our host appeared a very competent cook!
If Paul have the time to offer you a wine tour don't miss this opportunity to visit the very best wineries in the region of Robertson in a full day tour ending up with Klipdift Brandy Distillery in Robertson, where you have the chance to taste 21 year old brandy!!

We were 3 girls who stayed 3 nights with Paul and Lynne. We planned 2 nights, but we enjoyed it so much that we ended up with one more night. And we had a great time there. A relaxed atmosphere, great activities( a very nice winetasting with Paul) and excellent food. The rooms are very nice and clean and we will absolutely recommed the place.

Paul and Lynne our hosts were excellent. We only intended staying 1 night but Paul drew up an itinerary for 2 full days which were action packed with activities from wine tasting to mini safaris, culminating with a swim in the pool when we got back and G & Ts on the verander. The food was home cooked and fabulous, we even had a bri one evening with 2 other guests. Breakfast was beautifully presented with wonderful fresh fruit and bacon and eggs to finish. If you plan on doing Route 62 - which is a MUST stop off in Robertson first, there is plenty to do there. Go and see Paul and Lynne and they will make your stay worthwhile.
