“Scarab Village”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

A visit to the Scarab Village is not to be missed on any visit to Sedgefield. It is fascinating to walk around and admire how creative people are as you look at the crafts that they have made.
At least and 1 to 2 hours is required to see the village in all its facits. Various refreshment places are also available when you need a rest in between.

“Scarab Village well worth a visit”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Our visit to Scarab Village was the fourth one in the last couple of years. In fact, when we holiday in the Sedgefield area, we visit the Village. Everytime there has been an improvement in quality and the general impression that a constant effort is being made to improve products and service. Do yourself a favour and visit Scarab Village next time you are in this area. You can't miss it. It's on the main road just outside Sedgefield town centre.

“A nice little market”
Reviewed 6 May 2014 via mobile

We visited on a Saturday with our kids. Was a pleasant atmosphere and music from the chap with his guitar. Wooden clocks and kids tracksuits were well priced. Will go again.

“Interesting”
Reviewed 25 January 2014 via mobile

This is pretty much your average craft market but with a local twist.

Tip : make the time to chat with the store owners - you will find them very passionate about their products.

Stores especially worth visiting are the Barn owl outreach where you can touch and have your picture taken with an owl and the clockmaker who makes clocks from local woods.

Open every day with the bonus that if you miss the market on Saturday, there is a cheese stall here.
