Last February we stayed 4 nights at this great place. We had the room on the first floor which is the largest room from this B&B. This room is absolutely huge, with a separate living area. The room was clean, recently renovated, with a nice styling. It really felt like home. The rest of the house is in an excellent condition as well. The garden is nice and sunny with a beautiful view on the nearby hills.

The owner had a personal approach, friendly and assisted us with local travel tips. She made a delicious breakfast.

The house is located in a quiet area with an automatic gate. It felt safe. We enjoyed the area around Sommerset West. Try the new local Waterkloof restaurant, it is a top-notch place. Brilliant.

we stayed 4 nights at this beautiful B&B, the room was very spacious with a lovely bed. the breakfast was the best we had during the entire holiday! also the pool is very enjoyable, with chairs around it, so you can read a book or just sit and relax. the area is very quiet and safe. the B&B is ideally situated to visit stellenbosch and it's winelands, cape town is only 25 min. away, and in the area there are enough nice restaurants to have lunch or diner. we would certainly recommend this place to everyone, we had a very pleasant stay!

I am sorry to disagree with other reviewers. Our stay was not a success. Our room, while clean and recently renovated, was small and I would not have liked to spend more than one night there. I would not describe it as a luxury room. The bathroom was somewhat impractical, with no surfaces on which to place the usual items. The absence of air conditioning was a major weakness on a hot night, which was spent with the door and all windows open (not necessarily the smartest thing to do in South Africa). Our friends' room was even smaller and they spent a most uncomfortable night. I did mention the air conditioning issue to the hostess the next morning, but she didn't register any interest.

This is a very nice B&B. We stayed there for two nights . It is located in a very quiet street in Somerseth West from where we started our trips to the nearby wine estates.
The rooms are very clean and we loved the brand new bathroom.

Owners are very kind and friendly. They assisted us spontaneously in finding and booking restaurants.
