Definitely the most stunning views in the Cape...amazing architecture...setting....art (in the gallery)...stunning food and great wine and service!
Sadly was not informed before hand that they don't cater at all for children, and at R150 for a piece of beef my 5 year old wouldn't have appreciated it! No chips / mash / pasta...zip :-(
Anyway, even though we had one "corked" bottle of Warlord (red wine) it was quickly replaced with no fuss...even enjoyed some complimentary petit fours which were sublime.
The Venison i had was beautifully presented and melted in the mouth, and my fellow guests all enjoyed the Beef fillet.
Their starter breads with specialty butters were AMAZING!! Ask for more! I can't wait to fin another excuse to make the trip out...one of the best kept secrets in Cape Town! Freedom our waiter is also worth a mention - keep it up!
