I booked a table for 14 PAX for dinner in June 2013. When I spoke to the owner he assured me that he can handle a group of this size. I requested a squire table and confirmed that we will be having the a la cart menu. When we got there the table was in a squire as requested. But this is where everything stopped and ended for us. I was informed that the lights on that side of the restaurant does not work and he provided us with as much candles as possible. It was dark and we all had to use our cell phones for light to be able to read the menu. After a long struggle we ordered our drinks, it came with drips and drags. Eventually the waiter was back to take our food order. The food arrived cold and in drips and drags. Some of the group members had eaten long before some even got their food. I asked for a rare steak, I cut it in half to see how it was done, it was medium so I send it back, just to discover later that the same stake was offered to another member of our group that order a medium steak. After the majority finished there meal, 4 people had no food served. When their food arrived it was cold and tasteless. We arraigned the bill and left. We phoned another restaurant and went for dessert and coffee. The owner did apologise by e-mail to me, but our evening was ruined by bad food and service.
