It is immediately clear that the restaurant was either new or under new management, something which was confirmed later. De Vagebond might be in the early stages of something amazing. The biltong and blue cheese soup was spectacular, not too creamy. The smoky bacon salad made an impression because care had been taken to prepare the bacon in a maple syrup. Though the waiters seemed a bit new at the job, the service was still very good.
