“Great hiking mountain with fitted out log cabins”

First stop is up to Twaalfuurkop, then onto your chosen route, we did a four day hike, loads of small game, klipspringers, mountain duiker, etc. from the peaks you view the sea one side and Little Karoo on the other, great contrasts.
Two roomed log cabins along the way, bunk beds (take your own sleeping bags) and kitchen equipment (pots and pans, plates, knives and forks, spoons and cups), take warm clothing as it gets real chilly, but one of the most people friendly mountains I have ever hiked.

“A Jewel of a place to visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 January 2012

This town was one of the first towns built by the Dutch east african company. It is so very preety and quint. The museums are just lovely and the old Dutch reform church at the bottom of the mountain range is breath taking. If you did not know you were in South Africa you could think it was Austria.
Well worth the visit. Have lunch in one of the lovely places available

“Game Viewing Trip - Bredasdorp”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 November 2010

A lovely two hours out in the country viewing game on the Nuwejaars special management area (www.nuwejaars.com) ranging from cape buffalo, to eland, to springbuck, to the rare bontebok, ostrich, with the slight possibility of spotting a hippo. Included your guide will stop and spot birds and point out fynbos. A nice snack with a water is presented at the boma area which has stunning views of waskraal vlei where the 5 elusive hippo live.
During season, this trip departs daily.
