“Faultless and very professional”

It's hard for me to give top marks, but this place deserves them. After three dinner visits and one lunch, I have nothing but praise for the food. Billed as a Spanish restaurant, with tapas and paella, it offers a broader range of fine European food. Light salads and soups make for a perfect, modestly priced, but elegant lunch. The space is large, and there is a serious barbecue facility. For dinner we have tried the lamb chops (very tender, moist and delicious straight from the BBQ).

The pork belly was a generous helping, succulent and very tasty. The slow cooked lamb shoulder was also an ample serving, presented as a boneless roll...a format I have not encountered before. It was very tender and full flavoured, a testament to the professional skills in the kitchen. As sides we had the French fries and a small but remarkable serving of roasted red capsicum that was so intensely flavoured, and unlike any I have had before.

For us they have excelled on every visit...be it a simple lunch or a dinner...usually with some little extras thrown in, like a piece of Spanish omelette, or poor man's caviar (egg plant delice) and chocolate mousse sample). Wines are a bit on the pricy side, so we stuck to beer. But in the end, it's all about the food.

“Excellent food and great service ”

We have been here twice now and have visited on each trip to Bali. The food here is fantastic! Great to eat BBQ meat cooked well and with flavor. The mascarpone mango cheesecake was absouletly delicious and for AUD $5 - I could eat them all day. The restaurant has a nice feel too. Service is great too, very friendly and attentive

“Found this gem from reviews like this”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 January 2014

The atmosphere was great (I love the lighting )with staff just near enough but not in your face. We had some tapas (potatoes & garlic Aioli, spicy meatballs) just delish then the mixed paella which although you are told the wait is half an hour was no time at all. The days we live in - were asked if we'd like to take a photo when it arrived - fair enough it was worthy of a picture. Huge, delicious and although I'm not a huge seafood fan was really yummy. Loads of it so don't fill up on tapas. Finally had a pear tart and crème brulee to finish - pastry light and crumbly - hubby says crème brulee one of the best he's had. The frozen complementary chocs were too much but very tasty as well.
We were embarrassed to not have enough rupiah (not because it was expensive just forgot to exchange some) but they accepted Australian dollars.
Highly recommended as something different to the usual we would visit but went based on reviews we'd read. Try it, you wont be disappointed.
