This place is okay if you are on a budget. Our room was quite dark, and smelt really grim and there was decaying black bamboo in the bathroom. When we checked in, we found the manager a bit rude because he was very unsympathetic of our day late arrival due to food poisioning. The mosquito nets don't really work. However the pool was the best bit, and the rest of the staff were really friendly. Breakfast is okay. Good location for beach, but further from Seminyak shopping as we originally thought.

Thank you guys for the nice stay at your surf camp. I really enjoyed my week there. Although I was a pure beginner in learning surfing, I've felt safe in the water from my first day on (and that day was very stormy, too). The guides and the hotel staff were always very nice and caring. The facilities were excellent, too ;-)

Except surfing at the nearby Gado-Gado Beach (because the beach is not that clean, but the lessons were still good), I really enjoyed the beach trips to Turtle West (Semerang). But I think, I shouldn't have booked the surfing school for 3 days, although it was fun, but you learn surfing on a softboard, not as in the camp with a real surfboard. I think, also beginners can skip that course and go surfing with the KIMA-Team (also by reason that the surfing lessons from the surf school took place at the same time with the KIMA surf trips).

Thank you guys :)

The accomodation was fine. Realy friendly staff and the foot is ok. There is a lot of party for a lot of twens. But for surfing isn't very well. One of the beginner spots are located at Kuta-Beach. It is so disgusting to surf there. The garbage swimms around you and after an hour you feeling sick. The cleaner spots are more for intermediate or advanced surfers.

Well planned and well organized surf sessions. Highly recommended to any surfers at any level. Even you are not interested in surfing, it is still a great place to stay and meet up with people from different part of the worlds.

I was 3 weeks in the camp. I had a really good time with the stuff and also with the orther visitors. The breackfast (which was included) was perfect. The shakes are the best! I had to book one more night so I went to see the manager. He said it is no problem and I could stay in the room I was even if the resort was full booked. Thx Green Room for those 3 weeks

The management of the camp is done by a german guy who does a great job. People in the restaurant and reception are very helpful and kind. The breakfast is superb! The rooms are alright, the mosquito nets don't really work (not big enough), however they are clean.
Surf guiding was mostly good although not all instructors speak english very well which can lead to some misunderstandings. The daytrips that are organised are great value as the camps vehicles are used, this reduces the costs. All in all a good central place to stay.

Spent 8 days at the Green Room after not having surfed for more than 30 years. Could not fault the whole experience at all really. The whole thing is set up to make sure you have a good time surfing and a good time in the company of staff and visitors. Everything is done to ensure your needs are met and you have the best time possible. I went on the basis of a friend's recommendation and I reckon I'll be going back again.

Room Tip: If you have trouble sleeping in heat choose a room with aircon. Non aircon rooms have fans which are...
