Description: Kreol Kitchen provides a chilled relaxing space in the middle of Seminyak Bali with a back ledge overlooking the rice fields. With everything home made including their own flavored soda's you won't find any commercial soft drinks in this establishment. The open kitchen lends itself to amazing cooking smells that hit you immediately as you walk into the open space of the cafe. It's eclectic decor is a mish mash of 1970's and 1980's LP vinyl covers... vintage tuppaware... 1950's tea pots and silver trays and more. The space in Kreol Kitchen kind of reminds me of an aunt's house where memories were shared over home made biscuits and quirky teacups !!

Good food in cozy surroundings, definitely worth a visit. Only minus is that the view over the "rice field" behind Kreol is kinda dull (lies fallow) and my fresh orange juice was warm..

“A rustic gem! ”
Reviewed 7 August 2014 via mobile

This restaurant is a diamond amongst an array of restaurants offering variations of the same western menu. Kreol Kitchen offers a variety of fresh homemade dishes in a quirky yet comfortable setting. Shakshuka eggs (breakfast) and homemade cakes are highly recommeneded!

“Fabulous home style cooking”

This is a great local restaurant with meals made on the premises, the chicken salad is amazing, the home made spinach and ricotta pastries are extremely tasty, you cannot leave without tasting the home made pavola or the slices and biscuits, yum,yum

“Meh!! ”
Reviewed 29 July 2014 via mobile

I wandered in for lunch. There was only another table. The waitress was very nice but didn't really understand my questions about the pies so I orederd the special that day, the Chicken Burrito which was nice, and came with a side of squashed avocado. I also orederd the mushroom gayozas which were horrible. Very soggy and clearly quite old. I was also served the main before the appetiser which was strange. All in all a nice place for a lunch. Not very memorable though.

“Something fresh”
Reviewed 26 July 2014 via mobile

When you are tired of stumbling around between resarunts serving disappointing Nasi goreng and tough calamari in what is surely another episode of Bogan Hunters, Kreol Kitchen is the solution. A spot to take a deep breath and remember all the things you love about Australia. Fresh and healthy meals that are remarkably familiar and comforting yet genuinely embrace local produce and flavours. Amazing outlook (yes there really is a rice paddy in the middle of Seminyak) chilled decor, friendly unobtrusive staff. Definitely somewhere that would become my local... if only it was closer to home!
