Description: Since opening its doors in August of 2012, Zibiru has garnered a loyal following with its regional Italian cuisine made from fresh ingredients. The restaurant has something for everyone, from food enthusiasts to wine lovers: During the day a gastronomic deli, offering sandwiches with premium Italian products as well as vegan and vegetarian choices. 5 to 7pm is Aperitivo time with wine tasting and a chance to sample complementary bites from the kitchen. Come at night to listen to soul music and jazz, an ideal soundtrack for friends catching up or for couples seeking intimate conversation amid a romantic setting. We offer a feast for all five senses, providing a little refuge from the noise and liveliness of Seminyak. Adorned with authentic details exuding old Bali charm, Zibiru revives the romance of the past with its whitewashed facade, hand-carved wooden interiors and handmade furnishings. We offer three different dining experiences: al fresco in the garden amidst lush tropical flora; under the stars of the rooftop lounge; or in the haven of its non-smoking interior. The menu showcases the best offerings from the field; market-fresh fish arrives daily, bread is homemade on site, and pasta is handcrafted from scratch. Organic heirloom vegetables are harvested from Zibiru's own environmentally friendly farm in the mountains of Bali. Zibiru offers a chance to taste the splendor of Italy's various regions all under one roof. Live jazz every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

“The best pasta in Bali - absolutely fantastic”
Reviewed 2 June 2013

I have just enjoyed the most amazing meal at Zibiru. The gnocchi and swordfish ravioli were equisit! it would leave the original Seminyak Italian restaurants such as Ultimo and Tratoria for dead. It is located about 200 meters down Jalan Drupadi and is quiet and romantic. I have eaten at most of the "big deal" restaurants in Seminyak over the past few years and this little gem is definitely one of my favourites.

“Just ok...”
Reviewed 1 June 2013

The restaurant is nice, great upstairs area, but far from toddler friendly. U are definitely on your toes when u have little ones and choose to sit upstairs.
We ordered our mains, and was told one of the dishes wasn't available, so we ordered another dish and was also told that was unavailable. The gnocchi was tasteless.
We had eggplant parmigiana and pumpkin feta salad to start which was lovely! Wld definitely have that again.
Unfortunately the beers were extremely warm.
Service was good and welcoming.
But Not sure if I would visit again....

We appreciate you commenting on your experience at Kebun Zibiru and value your opinion. We do not encourage families with young toddlers to dine upstairs or on the rooftop terrace, as the space is not equipped for child-friendly dining. Our outdoor garden is more suited for children and allows families to enjoy their experience with us while allowing the little ones to roam freely and safely under their watchful eye. There is also a kid's corner on the ground floor equipped with books, colored pencils, games and various toys for their entertainment.

As for the food, in order to maintain and preserve our standard of freshness, we only prepare a select amount of dishes per night. Most of our popular menu items sell out quickly—you must have good taste! If you decide to visit us again in the future, do let us know. We are more than happy to comp you with a certifiably ice-cold beer.

Best regards,
Kebun Zibiru

“Little gem”
Reviewed 31 May 2013

Found this little Italian gem through tripadvisor and it didn't disappoint. From three different settings available we chose to dine upstairs "among the treetops"- a lovely setting. Starting with complimentary leek soup the meals were not big but made up in taste, they were scrumptious. The meals and drinks were reasonably priced, service was good and speaking to the owners was a good touch. Look for the coloured pigs on Jl Drupadi, you won't be disappointed.

“honest fare”
Reviewed 29 May 2013 via mobile

Good Italian food. Be guided by the owner as to what you order. The meals are priced at a level that several can be ordered and shared. We started out with a selection of cold imported cured meats and fritto of prawns and squid. Mains were well prepared. Very fresh tuna in a sesame crust seared, served with pesto and wilted spinach. There was a side of potatoes we could have done without. Stuffed chicken rolls. The pastas are very good, with the homemade pasta cooked perfectly and served with the simplist and freshest ingredents. Crab sauce Tagliolini, Linguine alla Collatura di Alice a simple dish with anchovy essence, cherry tomatoes, parsley and garlic, were delights. There is a small dessert menu. The wine list is very limited, possibbly because of Bali's stupid taxes imposed on wine. All in all a good feed, with friendly service
