Have stayed here before and found it to be great cheap and friendly. They have not done any maintenance and things are falling apart. The lounge chairs are broken and there are only 4 of them, the cushions on them are stinky and mouldy, the breakfast was as always very poor on choice. No eggs, bacon, ham, and food on offer was cold and not at all appetising. I bought my own cereal and milk and fed myself. Others in our group ate only fruit, and toast, although the " butter" was something in a tin, and very questionable. There is a big new hotel going up next door which is going to put them out of business unless they pay attention to the building. Towels were in bad way too and the pool towels are the bath towels that are in a worse state. Very disappointed this time. If you don't mind all the above you can get a nice room for $30 AUST.

Room Tip: The more expensive rooms $50 are the same as the smaller ones just larger with more floor space. The three $50 rooms get the hot morning sun, but are coo in the afternoon. All rooms face the pool. The cheapest rooms I think are at the back and are two floors high, the others are single story.

Stayed at the Harmony for four nights, location is within walking distance to the beach and quite easy to find.
The downside is room is dirty, I have to ask them to change the bedsheet and there was more than 12hours electrity problem! So dissapointing!. This is my first time ever in history stay in hotel without any electricity.

As other reviews have said, the biggest problem with this hotel is that there's construction going on right next to the hotel. Aside from the noise which didnt bother me very much personally, this meant that a layer of dust was covering the hotel most of the times, despite the constant cleaning. The dust gave the hotel a run down look.

Service was ok, but nothing more. I heard that the owner is looking to sell the hotel. Employees kept doing their jobs, but the lack of enthusiasm was apparent (for some). Oh, breakfast was good though.

Despite the hotel being the worst during our 1 week trip in Bali, we still had the best time here. Seminyak is a nice area that we hadn't experienced before. The beach is nice, especially the waves and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I much prefer Seminyak over Kuta and Sanur now. Location of the hotel is only a short walk from the beach.

The biggest asset of the hotel was the pool. The water was surprisingly warm (heated?) and very pleasant. Enjoyed it a lot.

Price is supposed to be at the lower end for Seminyak. Rooms were small.

Most of things are broken or worn down. Price is OK, but you have to live with the Construction of a hotel next door and holes in sheets with staines. Close to the beach, though.

Swimming pool is all right. Breakfast basic but sufficient. Airconditioning available and a mini bar with rasonable prices

The good thing about this hotel is it's a short walk to the beach. The other direction is lots of shops and restaurants. Bad news is there is a new hotel being built next door that is hovering over the pool. Nice if you want to wave at construction workers as you swim and don't mind the noise after 8:00 am. The hotel seems to be waiting for a rebuild. They haven't put any money into paint or upkeep for awhile. But if you need an inexpensive place to stay that is close to everything in Seminyak give it a go.

Room Tip: Didn't see the other rooms but we had the most expensive "Deluxe" room. Seems to be a bit larger but not worth the money from what we could see. Also bigger means more room to air-condition and the unit was straining to keep it cool.
