12 of us from penang, malaysia were here end of nov week. unexpectedly taken aback with the narrow passageway leading to the villa,,so my heart goes 'oh boy' for a moment, then after a short walk, we were greeted by 2 sweet ladies ,wayan and gen na,at the entrance, we were suddenly and pleasantly surprised by the ambience ,cleanliness and spacious areas of this villa not to mention the inviting pool ,which my son was looking forward to .smiles around were genuine, briefing provided and breakfast were served the following days were just appetising,it just give us a kick start to a great new day to explorebali as most of us are 1st timers.though the weather forecast was entirely wrong when i did my research days before our arrival, (which is rain/shower wet and cloudy),we even standby raincoats bought from Penang...but it turned out to be hot humid at temp 34 to 37 deg c...which is far better than wet days...Even though it was a remote case whereby our tour van 's aircond wasnt working, nevertheless we look forward to our sightseeing and finally the villa for a good soothing dip plus massages which we engaged every night at the poolside, we spent quality time to say the least. this villa should be an envy to others,if i may say so, service on breakfast is timely, pickup timely, housekeeping excellent, everything else was nice, from requst of massage, wifi access, security, and tour arrangement to designated areas are covered promptly.we do not want to be garlanded like kings ,but we were given treatment equally good..no regrets whatsoever staying here.
thanks a mile.

Stayed here with 6 friends ,we all ahd our own rooms with en suites and were bigger than most I have stayed in .Breakfast was amazing , freshly cooked every morning for us the staff looked after all our needs and are a credit to this facility. All in all I would highly recommend this villa , being the perfect spot you can walk out to the main street and shop or grab a bite. or if it's some where you need to go the driver will take you. I will be back. THANKS AGAIN TO JACK

“Fantastic villa in a great location”

We had a fabulous time at this villa. The rooms are beautiful, very spacious, the beds decadently comfortable with the best pillows I have ever slept on (I wish I had smuggled one out). We had 13 in our group and there is more than enough space for everyone. Having 2 lounge areas was great, adults chilling downstairs and the kids watching dvds upstairs.
Breakfast each morning was an absolute standard, you choose your breakfast the night before from an a la carte breakfast menu. My favourite, the scorched eggs, - scrambled eggs with a hint of chilli on excellent sourdough with panfried chorizo on the side.
The staff are wonderful. PJ our driver is not only a lovely genuine guy but really puts in that extra effort to ensure your stay is exceptional.

Thanks Tanya for your review! It's great to hear you enjoyed your holiday with us. We'll pass the comments on to our staff - they'll be wrapped to hear that you enjoyed the breakfast as it is something they really try to do well!! And it's good to hear PJ looked after you all with the transport - maybe his claim to be the "best driver in Bali" just might be true!
All the best and hope to see you again in the future!

“Wonderful stay”

A group of us (8 ladies) stayed at the Villa as part of my Hens get away in Bali. Due to the Volcanic ash, we had to keep in constant contact with the Villa owner to organise airport transport and pre-organised dinner at the Villa. Jackson was very prompt with email correspondence and very helpful with all queries and needs. We were all extremely pleased with the good communication. The staff were wonderful and all spoke good English. They were great with helping us book restaurants and with additional shopping needs. PJ the driver was also readily available if additional transport is required. The Villa itself is beautiful just as the pictures show, however the bathroom of one of the ground floor bedroom had a very noisy fan. We felt very secure at the villa and the food (included breakfast and paid dinner) were all delicious. The pool was quite cold as it wasn't very hot during the time we were there and the sun couldn't really penetrate the trees shading the outdoor area. Having free wifi was great as we were able to communicate with our friends and families easily but the upstairs wifi didn't connect very well. Overall, we were all very pleased with the location, service and facilities of the Villa and will definitely stay there again.

“We loved the villa with its great indoor/outdoor space, spacious bedrooms and fantastic location.”
Reviewed 14 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We loved the feel of the villa. We had the whole family including 5 grandchildren and they loved it. The pool has no shallow end so you need safety vests for small children but it is great to jump in and out of. The pool is part of the kitchen, living and outdoor space, which worked brilliantly for supervision and the kids were all very aware - no adults, no pool. The bedrooms were very spacious. We would certainly love to go to this villa again. The location is fantastic. So close to the shops, massage places, and beach. We highly recommend walking on the beach and sitting on the beanbags as the sun goes down. The staff at the villa were lovely and PJ the driver was so very helpful.

“Nothing is too much trouble”
Reviewed 1 June 2015 for a stay in May 2015

I stayed at Villa Lamunan for 5 days with a group of 10 friends. The Villa has large bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces. It is located close to the corner of Legian and Double Six. There is a pathway which will take you direct to the beach. It is impeccably cleaned daily by staff.

Breakfast can be ordered each morning from a menu which includes proper coffee. Absolutely delicious. I recommend the scrambled eggs with a hint of chilli.

All of the staff spoke very good English and were happy to help with anything we needed. Security was provided during the evening and happy to suggest good places to eat and visit. Airport transfers were also included In the price. PJ was also available for any transport needs. What more could we ask for?

Thank you for making my stay so pleasant.

Brendan, thanks a lot for the comments. It was a pleasure hosting you and your group for your stay. As you mentioned, the staff work tirelessly when we have any hiccups (which was the A/C cutting out in your instance) and it was good to see this was rectified within a few hours. Thanks for the comments - I'll pass along to the staff. Hope to see you all back again in the future!

Cheers
