My wife spent 5 days here in late February - early March. We've stayed here before and left glowing reviews each time. This trip gave us no reason to do any different. We had a fabulous time, were well looked after, and look forward to staying here again.
For the location and standard, I think Villa Kora is underpriced - but I'm not complaining!
Had a great stay at this villa. Made met us at airport and was very welcoming. Loved the villa, and the fact you can close off all doors and keep the kids contained to one area was great. Staff were on time every morning and cooked us a yummy breakfast every day, also cleaned villa spotless everyday. Perfect location right behind eat street and walked everywhere. Would stay here again and recommend it to all families.
My wife and I plus my wife's parents stayed at Villa Kora for 9 nights. This villa was perfect for us as my in laws can't walk too far. Eat steer in Seminyak was only a short 50 metre walk and the weather in May is some of the best you will get in Bali. The villa itself was large enough to accommodate 2 couples easily, fully air conditioned and comfortable. Made, the host and the 2 ladies who cooked our breakfast and cleaned the villa everyday were also very accomodating. I would certainly recommend this Villa with a perfect location and quiet surroundings.
The two of us had a very happy time at Villa Kora. It was very comfortable, private and spacious - easily accommodating another couple or a family.
The staff were all friendly, such nice ladies that came to clean each day, and the Manager Made also, and was very helpful to us.
We slept very well in the comfortable beds, were not aware of any mosquitos,
and very much enjoyed the lovely pool.
We thought the property great value and also liked the short walk to a variety of restaurants nearby.
Is it worth staying at Villa Kora? - A definite Yes!
The villa is large and the layout is designed with both bedrooms upstairs opening onto a large covered balcony overlooking the pool. The private bathrooms are clean and are recently refurbished with great shower and toilet facilities.
The pool is large enough to swim in and has a great seating area over the pool (see pictures) and is cleaned regularly.
The downstairs is one large open air-conditioned room with kitchen, dining and living area and is spacious for a villa. The villa is very well appointed with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. The one thing that could have been better is a more comfortable lounge suite - but that is only my opinion.
The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. It has great lighting for the evening and a Koi pond with water features. The garden is very Bali style and makes you feel more in touch with your surrounding.
Finally is the staff. Ludre and Putu took very good care of us (with great smiles)and made a very nice breakfast each morning, to order. They also kept the villa clean and tidy for us each day, thank you again. Made is a pleasure to see and is willing to help with tours or driving and information.
You cant beat the location for eating and shopping.
I hope we will stay here again.

My wife and I have just returned from staying at Villa Kora, and had a wonderful time. It was exactly as advertised (in fact the pictures didn't do it justice). It is located in the centre of 'Eat Street', so the location is fantastic, but set sufficiently far back that it remains quiet. Booking was easy, manager and staff were great, villa is nicely set up (and large) and pool was beautiful. I'd recommend it unreservedly for one or two couples.
My partner booked this villa for my 50th birthday trip to Bali, along with us my brother travelled. The villa is well placed to access Seminyak, Legian and Kuta. The most amazing thing about this Villa is it's close proximity to all the restaurants on "eat" street.
The villa is well equipped with 2 bedrooms each with their own bathroom and air conditioning, a toilet down stairs, full kitchen and a well appointed living and dining room, both leading out to the pool area and the fish pond. As you enter the villa your first view is of the pool, turning right you are greeted with an impressive view of the villa.
Each day, we were cooked a hot breakfast of our choosing and time by the lovely staff, they then continued to service the Villa to a high standard. Made the manager popped in a couple of times to enquire if we needed anything or if anything was wrong, which it wasn't. He even drive us up to Batu on Sunday when we couldn't find a driver, thank you so much Made.
Returning from a day out on my birthday located on the dining table was a bouquet of flowers from the Villa, wishing me a happy birthday and a long life. This was unexpected but a very nice touch.
When looking for a place to stay ensure you look at this Villa, I don't think you will be disappointed.
