We just arrived home from an 11 night stay at the Dyana. We had a 3 bedroom villa and shared with my sister and her husband. Very spacious, heaps of room, great grounds etc with our own pool. Pool temperature was perfect every day. Maid service good and since our last stay in May, they have improved the breakfast etc and it's far more substantial - nothing is too much trouble for the team here. Arya at the front office is superb and has everything under control. We've booked again for next year - can't wait - thanks for a great time.

Room Tip: If you are travelling as a couple, upgrade to a 2 bedroom villa if finances allow, they are more spacious etc - we had a 3 bedroom for 2 couples and it was perfect.

Our first experience with Dyana Villa was simply magical. We were bowled over by the genuineness of both the maids that made our breakfast every morning and getting our clean clothes return the next day.Their services were truly done from the heart and we hope the Management would reward them for their great hospitality. All Your staff provided distinctive and unparalleled service standards. I personally have very high standards and both the maids, iluh and ayu met my expectations. Our wishlist for our next trip in Jan 2014 is to have the TV in the bedroom .Our greatest challenge were the mozzies in the open air living room.We too wished to thank Raka,Arya and Dodo for all their kind assistance. They have been most helpful during our stay..see you soon.

I have to say this villa is simply lovely. A friend and I stayed in a 1 bedroom villa. I have stayed in 3 other villas in Bali before and this one wins hands down. The service was really good. Every morning all we needed to do was call reception to let them know we were ready for breakfast and the cooks would come and make the meals in the villa. They also offered free laundry. While you have our breakfast, they will clean the room and pool as well and by the time you are done with your meal the villa is all yours.
I think it is a salt water pool. I love that there is a place for you to just sit in the pool and relax. The waterfall got too noisy for us so we asked the pool person to switch it off. We also ordered take away from the near by restaurants and go it delivered directly to our villa. You can get take away until about 10pm if I remember correctly. The area is lovely, a short walk to the main road Jalan Raya Seminyak - I would say it took us - slow walk - about 15 mins. There are several restaurants and bars on this walk... the walk back to the villa took longer as we stopped over at several bars first.
We also organised a driver to take us to around Bali, we just rang reception in the morning to organise something for the afternoon and it was easy. 4 hours with the driver for IDR200,000.
This villa is situated in a small alley way perhaps 5 minutes or less walk to the street - it got a little dark at night but there are several security guards around and they would be happy to walk with you if you asked. They are so accommodating. Some other people had problems with cats, we didnt. I had left some biscuits and such on the table and nothing happened to it. I think if I had some rubbish and was afraid of these cats I would ring reception and have it cleaned or tie it up properly and keep in the fridge if it's not too bad... eg potato chip wrappers, etc.. :) ... at the main street of this villa there are several bars. Some of these bars get very busy on weekends and there are several drag shows.. We went and checked it out and had a very good night dancing. I will definitely stay here again. One day we spent the whole day in the villa and got take away and massages.. it was just fantastic! I am pretty fussy when it comes to cleanliness and this place was clean and had a good vibe to it. Clean and big bathroom. Friendly staff as well. It is very private. No villas over looking into your villa.

Room Tip: I think any villa is a good villa here. I had a look at the layout of this place and everyone would in my opinion get a great villa...

Well once again dyana villas have exceeded our expectations.!!!!
This time we had family and friends with us 11 ppl in total, so my husband myself and our grandaughter shared a 1 bdrm villa and the other 2 families had a 3 bdrm villa. This was a very special holiday for us and a celebration. With one days notice the staff organized a private party in the 2 bdrm villa for us this included the purchase of all the fresh ingredients for an absolute feast. Sarah and Yule prepared everything from scratch also Robby decorating the villa pool and gardens truly amazing. This was a surprise party for one of our friends and he had no idea this was even happening.!! Once again a massive thank you to all at dyana villas seminyak the best villas ever.

Room Tip: Villa 7&8 have stand alone showers and no bath tub which is great for ppl with a disability as you do not have to climb over a tub to shower. We have also stayed in a number of the other I bdrm villas all are slightly different and unique. The bigger villas are spacious and well set out for a group to share and the pools can be fenced off for toddlers or children so they cannot acsess the pool without adult supervision.

We recently returned from 10 nights at dyana villas for our honeymoon, we were in villa 20 which is a 1 bdrm villa. We really did love this place. The pool was amazing, the villa was large and well looked after, the staff were so lovely particularly our maid Hera! On arrival we were driven to the door of our villa where we checked in and were made welcome juices. The bed and bath were decorated with rose petals to celebrate our honeymoon. you make a time each day for your maid to come in and cook you breakfast, the pool guys comes at the same time and while you eat they clean the villa and pool, it's a great set up although to be completely honest doesn't always give you the privacy you want. Don't get me wrong the staff are wonderful but some days you just want your own space. The villas are down a long and sometimes busy driveway it is about a ten min walk down to the beach. At night this street known by taxi drivers as 'Dyana Pura' 'gado gado street' or 'the gay street' turns into exactly that. a number of gay clubs come alive right at the driveway entrance to dyana, as the driveway is dark and narrow sometimes taxi drivers would just drop us on the street, we would be approached by men dressed up trying to get us to join them which did actually make us a bit uncomfortable. In the day this wasn't a problem at all, and it was only maybe after 10pm that this would happen, it wasn't a huge deal but something I thought I would include in the review so you know exactly what to expect. We spent numerous days in the villa, swimming in the pool, tanning on the sun loungers, it was just bliss. You also have a sign on the door that you can turn to do not disturb which supposedly means the maids will not enter your room to return laundry etc. a number of times we had the sign turned to do not disturb but they still rung the bell which was a bit annoying when having a nap or whatever. A couple of times we went out for breakfast as the breakfast provided isn't great but is ok as an inclusion, there is also a great spa place 'Bali spa' at the top of the driveway! This was our first villa experience and as far as we are concerned this is def the way to holiday! If we were to return to seminyak we would probably look into other villas though. we loved dyana villas but the open air Lounge, kitchen, dining, bathroom sometimes caused a challenge. The bedroom is air conditioned and is just lovely but the Lounge and kitchen are open air and rely on fans. During the day it is ok as you are in and out of the pool but at night it is very hot and there are alot of mosquitoes, no amount of spray could deter them either. The TV is out in this area too so if you wanted to watch TV you had to be prepared to be boiling hot and have mosquitoes buzzing around. Other than this the open air design means you are exposed to quite a bit of wild life. We had lizards, frogs, snails, giant ants, mosquitoes, cockroaches and cats in the opens air areas at times which I understand is unavoidable given the design but for us it was sometimes off putting particularly when we were woken up in the night because cats where trying to rip open our rubbish bin in the kitchen. If this sort of thing doesn't bother you the dyana is just perfect, it really is lovely! I just wanted to be honest about a couple of the things that bothered us. Overall dyana is great, we had a fab time, loved our villa, our pool, the staff, it really is a great place and the security staff are always on hand so you feel very safe. Thanks dyana villas for a great stay.

Room Tip: Villa 20 and 21 are the new one bedroom villas, we were in 20 which was great but apparently 21 is even better

thank you for your review, we are so sorry for any inconvenience during your stay, we are make sure this would not happen again in the future. About the open living yes, all of our villas are designed with an open living area with ceiling fans only. About the TV, we are try our best to have TV in the bedrooms as soon as possible. Again, thank you and hope we could serve you again in the future
