We really enjoyed our stay at Uma Sapna. The staff were super friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble for them to help us with, even helping us to reserve restaurants. We could not fault any team member. We stayed in the Executive pool villa (Ternate) before being upgraded to a Royal pool villa (Bunaken) for the last two nights of our stay. Both villas were beautifully appointed, clean, well maintained and like our own private hideout. The rainfall-style shower heads were so luxurious and the king beds were so comfortable and clean. We almost preferred the shower and pool in the executive pool villa to the royal villa -- even though the outdoor are was larger. The water cooler at the Royal villa was a nice touch. The housekeeping service comes in the morning and again at night for a turn down service. In Ternate there were some minor issues with what we assumed was frog noises and the sound of the next door air conditioner during the night, but I'm sure if we'd told reception they would have dropped everything to fix it. The pools were big to relax in every day. Airport pick up and drop off was very helpful. The villas are secluded and far away from traffic noise, but in a very convenient location, close enough to be able to walk to many good restaurants (eg. Kilo, Zibiru, Ginger Moon, Mamasan). Kilo was their own restaurant and we enjoyed both the delicious complimentary breakfasts, as well as lunches, dinners and the extensive list of cocktails. You must try the Thai iced tea. It was a treat to have breakfast delivered to us in our room a few times. We never wanted to leave Uma Sapna to come back to the real world, it was such a nice relaxing escape, and we came home truly refreshed.
