We stayed at the Dusun in a 3 bedroom villa with another couple and friend for 4 nights. I have to say I was expecting it to be great, but the Dusun was absolutely amazing. The photos really don’t do it justice. What a beautiful piece of paradise this place is. The pool was magnificent; I have never spent so much time in the water! The bedrooms were very private, like three little villa's with a shared kitchen. The rooms and bathrooms were lavish and spacious with a super comfy bed and the most comfortable pillows I have ever slept on.
Fabulous location. Close to the beach and just around the corner from lots of great restaurants and places like Potato Head, Ku De Ta etc. if that is your thing.
But best of all, the staff were gorgeous. Always friendly, very accommodating, helpful and kind without ever being imposing. Nothing was too much trouble. The little extras included like a complimentary driver for drop offs in the local vicinity and push bike's to use really made our short getaway special and stress free. We really had a wonderful time and would like to highly recommend the Dunsun. THANKS DUSUN!!!

I stayed in Villa 3 with my mother, sister and daughter in late April 2014. It was our first trip to Bali and from the moment Wayan (Andre) picked us up from the airport we felt welcomed to Bali. The sense of welcome continued through check-in at the villa, and in all our dealings with the staff, throughout our stay.
I was very happy with the quality of the villa, especially after reading that the website photos don't always reflect the reality. The location meant that I could wander up to Grocer and Grind to buy good coffee each morning. The other bonus was the free drop-off in Kuta for a bit of retail therapy.
The Dusun Villas do live up to their slogan 'Exceeds expectations'! Thanks so much for your hospitality.

Our first villa experience in Bali, though definitely not our last. We stayed 7 nights in a one bed villa and absolutely loved our stay. Gede (front office manager) and his team could not have done more to make our stay more enjoyable and nothing was too much trouble.
The villas are not super modern but they are beautifully and tastefully decorated and maintained to a high standard.
Breakfasts are prepared in your villa each morning as there is no onsite restaurant. They do have a room service menu and the food comes from several well chosen local restaurants. Included in our stay were return airport transfers as well as drop off to anywhere we wanted to go in the Seminyak, Legian and Kuta areas with a little notice but this was not always required.
Would highly recommend,

Room Tip: there are 7 one bed villas and 7 3 bed villas. I am not sure it would matter which one you would as...

A very enjoyable place to stay. Loved my private pool. Staff were excellent. Breakfast prepared in my villa. How fresh is that. If you order in they even plate your meal and set the table. Love that level of pride and service. Close to all my needs. I will be staying here again.

We can't fault our stay at The Dusun from the time we were met by Andre our driver at the airport to the time we left. Arriving in the evening to be greeted and checked in at our villa was a great start. The staff are so attentive yet not overwhelming, the villa stunning and the perfect retreat to unwind. Straight into the pool after checking in as it was so inviting and warm. 1st night dinner in our villa c/o the room service directory where you can choose food from local restaurants was divine, Indonesian fair and beautifully presented by the villa staff when it arrived. Day 2 was a great start with a beautifully cooked breakfast in our villa which we had every day, just amazing. In villa massages a must, we had 2 hours of pampered bliss. Local restaurants awesome and you can ask to be driven anywhere locally by the complimentary cars which are driven by great guys. Take a day trip out with one of the drivers as we did, it was a great day out to the Monkey Forest and stops on the way, plus a stop for lunch - awesome. Our driver Gusti was great and made the trip extra special by accommodating our every need. We were sad to leave but will be back. We're already planning my 50th birthday in the 3 bedroom villa. We cannot fault The Dusun, it was an amazing holiday made extra special by the staff who were always so helpful. Thanks to all at the Villas. Simon & Kieron / Sydney, Australia.

We have just returned home after 6 days in the superb Dusun Villas. As there were 4 of us, and as we already knew about the "secret" villa 215 (with the self contained 2nd bedroom attached), we specifically booked this villa. The Dusun's website lists 1 and 3 bedroom villas, so enquire about # 215 if you want 2 bedrooms.
Every smile, courtesy, service, staff member, breakfast, car transport and private garden and pool is a sheer joy. This place has the feel of "old Bali" in amongst the modern and chaotic surrounds of the "new" Seminyak.
The only thing we missed was moisturiser and tissues in the bathroom. (If my memory serves me correctly, both of these items were provided during our previous stays).
If these villas are ever demolished because of the very valuable land they sit on, it will be a very sad day. My suggestion; book a villa while this gem is still there to enjoy.

Room Tip: The higher the villa number, the longer the walk to the street entrance. If you don't mind walk...

We stayed at the Dusun for 2 weeks. We were picked up from the airport by the Dusun driver, who had bottles of cold water and refreshing towels for us. Felt good after 22 hour flights. Check-in very quick even as we arrived late at night. Villa was super spacious, with big private pool surrounded by a little tropical garden. Villas are really clean, housekeeping twice a day, pool cleaned almost every day. If to mention something-bathroom could need some update. We had breakfast served every morning on the terrace by the pool at the time we preferred. Lots of choices...delicious! The staff is wonderful, so friendly and efficient, and always with a great smile. You really feel spoiled! Villas are situated perfectly...so quiet, so private. And still walking distance from shops and good restaurants. If you feel lazy to go out, there is a possibility to order food from 7 different restaurants, served by the staff at your own villa. Used it a lot...fantastic food and service. Special thanks to Andre for introducing us the culture and traditions of this beautiful island. Thank you Dusun for making our stay so memorable.
