It was our first trip to Bali, not as nice as everyone said it would be...
The hotel is quite run-down. the facilities are there but not in the greatest condtion at all. The breakfast buffet was medicore and the breads etc. were stale everyday, we were there for 7days...
The bathroom was horrid and grotty. we called them since day 1 to unblock the shower they came and actually did something on day6.

I must however say the staff were overall friendly and pleasant

We arrived very tired from a late flight and after waiting in a visa line for 2 hours at the Denpasar airport couldnt wait to get to the hotel. We were very impressed when staff offered us a cold drink and cold face washer at the front desk. Check in was painless & fast and we were hastily shown to our room.We stayed in a Pool View Room which was located on the top floor. A porter carried our bags up to the rooms.

My first impression of the room was "WOW". I dont know how anyone could complain about the rooms, I couldnt fault anything. My sister and I had 2 king single beds with a beautiful mosquito net canopy hanging from the ceiling. The beds were ultra comfortable, I would of brought them home with me if I could, It was the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in!! Bathroom was clean & spacious and had plenty of vanity space for all our toiletries. Air Conditioner in the rooms was lovely & cool. Our room was on the top floor so it was a bit of an effort at times to get up when it was so hot as they dont have a lift so if you have a problem with stairs make sure you request a ground floor room.

The breezes is located about a 10 minute walk up from Seminyak Beach.

Buffet breakfast every morning was beautiful!! Lots of fruit & hot & cold food to choose from and located right opposite the pool was so relaxing. Staff were very attentive so if you needed anything they were always close by.

The two Pools were HEAVEN! The pool bar was great and had a lot of entertainment. Bingo at 5pm, happy hour 5:30-7pm where you get to spin the wheel for free, half price drinks. Lots of pool lounges around the pool to choose from. The other pool had a fake sandy beach effect which would be great for kids. They also do volleyball there and water aerobics if you wanted to. Little beach cabanas at the pool side looked beautiful too.

The hotel had a Buddha Bar which we only went to once or twice and it was ok. Not many people there, we mainly went to the bars in town but it did have some nice lounges out the front where you could have a drink & relax.

We also used the internet there, these all worked fine and didnt cost much at all. Bring a card reader if you want to email photos back home as they didnt have one.

Location wise, it was a bit of a taxi ride into Kuta if you wanted to be part of the action but we chose to stay at Seminyak for the quietness which we got. There a supermarket next door with everything you need and a money changer as well. A few doors up on the same side of the hotel is where we used to get massages. I cant remember the name, I think it was called Ayu Massage? Anyway it was so cheap 55,000 rupiahs for a 1 hour massage and honestly its the best massage Ive ever had!!! Girls are very nice there too.

All in all we enjoyed our stay at The Breezes and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Check out went smoothly too. The staff on reception are very friendly and speak good english so easy to understand. I cant really think of anything to complain about.

I will definitly be returning.

Stayed in the Breezes for 11 nights and we were able to have the room up to 9:30pm till our transport arrived to take us to the airport. The BBar was a bit noisy on some nights so would not have a room near there if I went again, I would request one on the ground floor near the sandy pool. I think they should have non smoking rooms as smokers either side of our room became quite annoying. Breakfast had a large selection of cooked meals, fruits, yoghurt and juices. The cook will do your eggs any way you like. Some days there was a 2 piece band playing Balinese music, which was quite entertaining, the bingo at 5pm and the Kareoke were a bit Ausy, I would like to have seen a bit more of their culture happening. The rooms were very nice, clean and the big bed was really comfortable. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool and the lovely gardens. The staff are really friendly. The supermarket and the money changer are next door and very handy. The shopping in this street is not that good but I walked Seminyak and found plenty of nice ones, turn right coming out of the hotel and keep walking to the end of the street and turn right heading towards the Haven Hotel, lots of good shopping around there. The shuttle will take you into Legian 3 times a day to the markets and they are also great. Dont pay anymore than $8.00 Aust on the beach for a massage, they ask a lot more but thats all you pay in the shops.

Stayed at Breezes for 5 nights. Pool is very dangerous. I would not go there with children as seems to be too many unsupervised areas. Someone actually drowned while we were there, near the pool bar. So Sad..... so please be careful.

Rooms were old and need refitting.

Staff OK, but not like some other Bali hotels.

We wont be back.

i went to bali with a group of friends over new years 09/10. i travelled with my boyfriend, my best friend and her boyfriend. we got two seperate rooms which we booked through the travel agent. when we arrived at the hotel, we found out that one room had a king bed and the other room had two king single beds. this was annoying as it was two couples travelling so neither of us wanted the room with two beds (they resolved it by pushing the beds together but its still not the same).
the hotel staff were absolutely amazing. they were very kind and wanting to help out wherever they could. they also learnt our names and were very keen to chat which was lovely. they also helped us plan things to do (safari park, rafting, etc).
we stayed at the breezes for 2 weeks, the first of which was lovely weather, and the second week rained (wet season). during the first week, the hotel was filled with other young travellers which made the vibe of the hotel great. during the second week, the hotel filled up with families with young children, which ruined the atmosphere of the place, as it is a lovely resort. swimming in the pool was spoilt by parents letting their children run around and shout (but thats not the hotels fault). they also have a movie room, which you can play your own dvds which was great during the wet weather.
the rooms were very clean, the food at the restaurant was great, and the pool bar was a great place to hang out (they had bingo at 5pm daily).
the location was great, as it was out of kuta, but still such a cheap taxi ride away (just make sure you only take the taxis that have the blue bird on it otherwise you get ripped off)

The staff was great with the kids and families, they will do anything that they can to help.
Every day they had bingo and for the kids a staff memeber would do activites with the kids in the pool area and even give away mochtailes for them to enjoy. We are a family of 5 and our interconnecting rooms were great, they have mozzy nets for all the beds and even go to the extream off doing a mozzy patroll by spraying the rooms ever night. The pool area is huge, even has a sandy area as if u were on the beach for the little kiddies to enyoy.Karioke bar was lots off fun and there is no age group.Kids corner is fun as when u are on the net the kids can have there own AREA to play so u have peace off minde.OVER ALL GREAT PLACE GREAT VALUE ANS WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN!!!

We have just returned from The Breezes in Seminyak. We stayed for a week and everyday was absolutely perfect. big clean rooms, enormous pool, delicious breakfasts and the staff were fantastic. bintang bingo everyday in the pool bar is a must. this is the first time id stayed in seminyak and will definitely stay there again. quieter than kuta but still lots of restaurants and shops to choose from. a minimart next door stocks heaps of water, beer, food etc plus changes money for a good rate without commission or any dodgy dealings. we hired a scooter up the road for $6 a day...definitely a great way to get around! Overall I cant recommend the Breezes enough...my boyfriend and i were both very sad to leave and cant wait to go back
