Excellent dinner and great experience from start to finish. Great Front of House staff made us feel very welcome, and the wait staff have been trained to a very high standard - running with the professional friendliness and service of an operation that's been running for years, not the few weeks it has. Of course the star of the show is Chef Steven Skelly, recently arrived from Sydney - and the restaurant's open kitchen provides the perfect stage to demonstrate his talents. Two house cocktails provided a great start to dinner, and the scallops starter (a generous portion, not the two or three sometimes served in top end restaurants) were delicious. The squid starter was similarly generously portioned and delicious. Mains of roast suckling pig and snapper were also well executed with imaginative twists. In the highly competitive top-end Bali dining scene, a new star has risen and the others will have to look to their games. This was the best meal of my trip.
